As the co-founder of the labels @meteors-recordings & @aurore404records and the Punk Issues parties, as well as the head of the booking agency You Should Be Dancing, @cfds404 shapes her sonic universe rooted in an Electro base, enriched with influences from EBM, Trip-Hop, Dark Disco, Breakbeat, New-Cold Wave, and Techno, weaving a singular and boundless musical narrative. Marked by a strong rock imprint, her sets infuse this electronic landscape with a rebellious and sensual energy.

Minor Player : It was in 2013 that Parisian DJ Minor Player fell in love with techno and its world, after an evening spent in the famous Danish club Culture Box. Since then, she has continued to increase her knowledge of techno music. It is therefore as a true enthusiast of the New Wave movement and its sub-genres that Minor Player quickly developed an appetite for EBM and its artists, such as Mind / Matter, XTR Human, OTHR, Sarin or Reka. Minor Player intends to transport her audience into the post-industrial era of the 80s whose cold and metallic, but incredibly catchy sounds transport us into an ode to letting-go in each of her sets. Their captivating complexity led her to join the Atrium collective. Minor Player also offers a residency on Line Out Radio dedicated to her favorite genre and the artists who inspire her on this scene.

Carmilla Sioux is a Barcelona-based DJ and producer known for her dark electronic sound, blending Wave, EBM, and Industrial Techno. She was a bassist in post-punk bands before gaining recognition in Barcelona’s underground scene and internationally. Her latest EP, Lumina Obscura, explores themes of transformation, rebirth, and the struggle between light and shadow. Since 2024, she has led From Hell To Disco, a platform that combines a label, podcast curation, and live events. This project has solidified her position in Barcelona’s dark electronic community.

Anyone following this guest mix series will probably know our next guest. He’s been a huge inspiration for Blank Wave, and one of the main reasons this platform exists in the first place.

Luca Venezia aka Curses — the Berlin-based DJ, producer, and label curator — blends New Wave, Post-Punk, Italo-Disco and EBM into dark, romantic club soundscapes that bridge nostalgia and modern energy (like no other). His latest album Another Heaven (2024) showcases his evolving sound, following Incarnadine (2022) and his debut Romantic Fiction (2018).

Together with Skelesys, he brought the duo Silver Tears to life, delivering a guitar-driven mixture of Post-Punk and Dark Wave with haunting melodies and cinematic textures. Curses also curates the brilliant Next Wave Acid Punx compilation series and runs Ombra International, a label dedicated to shadowy dance music from around the globe. His live sets, often featuring bassist Dame Bonnet, add a raw, post-punk edge to the dance floor and you should visit his live show whenever possible. With his monthly radio show Together Alone, Curses continues to navigate the twilight zone between wave and club culture — making him one of the defining voices of this darkly romantic movement.

The next iteration of the MK-ULTRA mix series is presented by Scottish-born artist & DJ swærm who crafts a visceral and uncompromising sound rooted deep in the underbelly of body music. Drawing from the raw textures of early industrial, the brooding atmospheres of wave, the menacing urgency of post-punk, and a wide spectrum of dark electronic influences, his sound is a confrontational yet hypnotic fusion, designed as much for physical movement as for psychological immersion.

As the founder and curator of N.I.M [Northern Industrial Movement], swærm pushes his vision beyond the studio. The label and accompanying podcast series serve as a platform for highlighting artists and sounds that echo the label's ethos: cold, raw, and relentless. Through N.I.M, swærm cultivates a space where the darker, harsher edges of electronic music are not only preserved but amplified.

This month's guest is DAS MONSTRVM, a dark‑techno and industrial producer/DJ who, together with A Thousand Details and Teragon, co‑founded the label Flagelante in 2020. 
His music blends dark ambient, acid techno, EBM and harsh experimentalism into immersive compositions that probe illness, decay and existential trauma. 
By crafting meticulously structured soundscapes and an esoteric aesthetic, he urges listeners to confront psychological fragmentation and sonic collapse.
Originally emerging from Porto’s experimental scene, DAS MONSTRVM has been active since the early 2010s, first releasing through the collective Favela Discos before leaving in 2019 and relocating to Osaka shortly thereafter.

Zeitreise is a duo of artists and founders of the Brutal Forms record label. Their sound is in a constant state of evolution, exploring a wide range of sonic elements that include Industrial, Power Electronics, Metal, Techno, and EBM. While these influences shape their sound, Zeitreise does not conform to a single genre, preferring to explore a more fluid and cross-disciplinary musical vision. For years, they have drawn inspiration for their productions and performances from a wide range of genres, constantly evolving and redefining their artistic approach while encouraging listeners to continuously explore new musical horizons.

Approaching music through both live performances and DJ sets, Zeitreise blends analog systems, instruments, and various tools to create immersive experiences that blur the boundaries between traditional performance and improvisation.

Beyond their work as artists, Zeitreise are also active promoters, curating and organizing events under the Brutal Forms label. They regularly perform and host nights in major European cities such as Berlin, Paris, Brussels, and Barcelona, collaborating with international guests and emerging artists to push their creative vision forward.
