Mind Static joins for DifferentSound Podcast #118.

This mix was recorded live at KHIDI 中 G2 march 12th 2022

Mind Static delivered the matching soundtrack to it: from ambient and dub to a sometimes dreamy sometimes droning passage to rolling and tunneling techno with a strong propulsion. He released his first Album called "Environmental Acoustics" on the Label, Lett Records in 2016 and the last one is on  the DVNTT  called "Diving Echoes" where is included 10 tracks.

Showcasing once again his diverse sonic palette ; Comparative Anatomy EP presents four enigmatic exercises in groove, texture, and atonality. Whirling chords, cryptic bleeps, and a tunneling midrange juxtapose a dense and brooding low-end. The elements are enunciated by a signature swung-back percussion - laissez faire movement against tense atmospherics.

Established by Bønehead in 2021, New Delhi based community driven record label, magazine & internet radio - Bøne.FM presents the label’s debut compilation with the effort of artists from around the world showcasing their most ambitious work. Being a genre fluid label the V/A goes from progressive ambient to bass fueled club tracks, melodic house tunes and some experimental work in between. This makes the listener’s experience a quite fulfilling journey.

Ventolin is a Dublin based Producer and DJ who focuses mainly on old school tool techno and hard groove, while also incorporating jungle and breaks into his production and mixes. 

"This track is one I crafted for peak time grooves in those dark, low ceiling basements. After nearly a year of constant touch ups, edits, time off production and many other things, I finally completed a track that was incredibly enjoyable to make with a lot of inspiration from the Dutch hard groove scene after spending a year living there."

For our very first podcast we are pleased to receive Camila Rodhes.

Behind this nickname borrowed from a Lynch movie, is Camille, a DJ and photographer based in Paris.
Very strongly inspired by the film noir and science fiction, Camila Rodhes likes to create evolutive and mystical sets with psychedelic sounds. Her Techno is mental driving, built on a hypnotic groove that blends Techno, Electro and breaks.

For this podcast Camila Rodhes left the Electro on the side to shape a more mental and progressive experience. A technoid land trip, oscillating between textures and bewitching sound landscapes.

" Underground " un titre réalisé le 01/11/2024 par le DJ / Producteur Dyjok.
Un titre créer à l'inspiration du lieu où l'artiste a tourné son premier Clip d'un set de 30min sur le toit de l'ancien lavoir à charbon de la ville de Carmaux.
Ce lieu très brute, très sombre et à la fois exposé en pleine nature a aidé Dyjok à trouver la rythmique dark de son titre.
