Auld lang syne

In two days from now I'm going to play live with two friends, synthesist Bernhard Wöstheinrich and percussionist Volker Lankow, for a small audience in a little café in Berlin-Kreuzberg (which I'm looking forward to a lot! ) and as it's my habit before such events, I prepared a choice of sounds the other day(s) and toyed around with these - which You might call "rehearsing"  - although the word might suggest that I rehearse specific pieces, which is not the case; rather I improvise with the limited pallette of sounds which I consider to use at the event, to get a feeling for what I might do with them.
This track actually consists of four longer improvisations I recorded yesterday evening: the first performed with various virtual synths from my laptop, the rest all done with the Waldorf Blofeld alone...

Of course, the concert will sound considerably different, because Bernhard's and Volker's contributions are (obviously) missing in my noodlings; also the "Blofeld only" bits are a bit sparse, I guess, since the synth has a limit of how much sounds it can generate - at some moments You can actually here it starting to falter and distort...

This is my entry for the remix competition of Steven Wilson's track "Personal Shopper". I really had a lot of fun working on it and this is the result... Enjoy!!
