Jammin' ~(˘▾˘~)  (づ￣ ³￣)づ  (~˘▾˘)~

When I was making this record I was mostly thinking about making the bass as melodic as possible. I've always really digged Japanese funk and a lot of their bass is based around melody and giving a bass a strong mid boost. Because I wanted the bass to be the center of the track I decided to make most of the other elements (besides the kick) pretty ethereal and ambient. Having a catchy bassline is almost better than having a dope hook in my opinion. Also this is a shoutout to Daft Punk. It's not really their style but they are fucking legends and I wanted those three words to continue to live on "One More Time". To me, this song feels like the cycle of smoking weed or even cigarettes for that matter. When you're stoned it feels like the drop and when your fiending for a smoke it feels like the lyrics/the builds. When I was recording this I wanted my voice to sound like I was yearning for something and I think we did a great job of accomplishing that.
