En parcourant le dernier rapport du GIEC, j'ai redécouvert avec « joie » l'existence de ce noble art que l'on appelle la prospective. C'est vrai qu'au quotidien, on pourrait oublier que demain se prépare dès aujourd'hui. Et pourtant c'est le cas.

Initialement, ce morceau est né d'une réflexion sur le concept de futur. Il aurait pu sonner bien autrement si seulement l'avenir ne me paraissait pas si sombre.

Alors tant qu'il y a de la vie il y a de l'espoir ?
Précisément.

Je me suis demandé comment j'aimerais vivre ma fin du monde.
Probablement en balançant ma tête et en tapant du pied jusqu'au bout.

À l’origine ce morceau s’appelait Gratuit, parce qu’il me semblait déployer malgré moi une violence et une force de frappe presque aussi démesurée que hors de propos.

En continuant à l’affiner, je me suis aperçu que ce qui me plaisait dans ce que j’avais fait, c’était la manière dont ressortait la dissonance. Pas juste comme quelque chose de déplaisant mais surtout comme des sons qui disent « non ».
Peut-être pas si hors de propos que ça au final.

Ce morceau est devenu un purgatoire, un condensé de colère pour toutes ces fois où je n’ai pas su trouver la force de me lever et de m’insurger.

Puisse-t-il devenir un étendard à brandir pour toutes ces prochaines fois où il faudra dire non.
