This one seems to be a favorite on the Twitch stream (affectionately known as Hot Potato), so we figured we'd release it in the first batch for you guys. 

The inspiration for this song came to me when I got my Tele.I had been listening to a lot of Devin Townsend songs that had the swing feel, and something about having a guitar with Single Coil pickups made me want to try to emulate the style. 

This song will soon be re-uploaded with vocals, however this instrumental version will remain for those that enjoy it in its current state

Carnival (Instrumental)

Inspired by the acquisition of a 1993 Rev F Dual Rectifier, and the desire for a drums-only verse section that I could dance ridiculously to whilst performing vocals. 

The entire song is in 4/4 at a 180, including the middle section where things start to sound a little wonky due to subdivisions. 

Will be re-uploaded as a vocal version as soon as vocals are written and recorded.

Dissolution (Instrumental)

This might be the song that I'm most proud/excited about from the entire album, and I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe it's the fact that there are over 100 individual instrument tracks throughout the song as a whole, maybe it's the fact that it was the first one I had entirely finished with vocals and all; in any event, I love this song.

Accelerate (Instrumental)

This is a newer one that Alex and I have been working on.  To be honest it was supposed to be set to private so that I could show friends without them needing to download anything, but it was accidentally set to public and some people already saw it so I figured I'd leave it for at least a few days to prove new music is coming.

Anyway, for now more details are secret but if you've been present for the production streams you might know some of them anyway. If you haven't, come hang out and watch how we come up with all this stuff!

This was a song written and pre-produced mostly by my friend Nick who owns The Axe Palace, with the intention of using it as his / in his proposal to his girlfriend. He hit a wall with writing and asked me to help out with composition of orchestral elements/synths and production because he had given himself a deadline that he wanted to meet. I might go back and re-mix everything eventually (new drum sounds, re-amped guitars, revised production from my own studio), but right now that isn't a priority.
