The 53 Podcast for our series the 1h set Exclusive by Jickow

It all begins in the south of France, between Montpellier and Marseille, where Jickow is moving the electro scene. As a DJ, art director, manager of a booking agency, he's in the core of the nightlife world. And as a talent scout, he was one of the first to work with renowned artists, including Amine Edge & DANCE, German Brigante and many others.

After making a name for himself in the south of France, Jickow exported his path, went abroad and mixed in the best clubs throughout the old continent and beyond. From the excitement of Kater Holzig in Berlin to the heat of Rachdingue in Catalonia, through the electric atmosphere of the Jesus Club in Saint Petersburg.

It is finally in Belgium that Jickow fully blossomed as a staple of Brussels nights. After a 4 years break, he came back with the "Hedonism Party Crew" project which was a real success in Brussels. Since then, the parties of the collective reached some new clubs as Club Vaag in Antwerp or the Rex Club in Paris after only two years. Jickow invites international artists like Oxia, Lee Van Dowski, Pleasurekraft, Olivier Huntemann, Anthony Rother or Marc Houle. He decides to produce them while keeping an eye on the local scene, a pool of talent that Jickow wants to bring out of the shadows. A winning bet since the Word magazine references him in the 100 most influential people of the Belgian night.

After all these years in the nightclub scene, Jickow has developed an intimate relationship with music. And that's what he wants to share with the public during his performances as a DJ. This is also the reason why he selects his dates sparingly and mixes only once or twice a month. Jickow favours his love for music above all the notion of pleasure. A feeling that must stay authentic with each of his performances.

An authenticity that we also find in his production work. Jickow doesn't try to multiply releases, he takes the time to produce music that he believes in, music that he then enjoys sharing with the public. This past couple of years his productions have been released on Resopal Schallware (vinyl and digital), Natura Viva, Area Verde or Deep House Belgium & Beatfreak. Appearances that have earned him the support of big names in electronic music, such as Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos, Joris Voorn, Maceo Plex, Joseph Capriati,

PREMIERE: Santiago Luna & Maywell - Underground (Alfred Beck Remix) [deep dip]

Friday Session 36 begins with hypnotic power — Nihil Young, Unseen., Ashkan Dian take us straight into a hypnotic momentum, followed by Konstantin Sibold and KAF3R, who expand the sound into cosmic space. Zemmco’s own ID Croissant places a personal fingerprint early in the set, before the journey drifts into emotional textures with Avis Vox and the glowing energy of SKIY.

From there, the rhythm sharpens: Andrewboy & Che Jose and JOOLIA bring deeper vocal tones, while Jonas Saalbach & Eze Ramirez inject groove with precision. Another lift from SKIY keeps the drive alive, leading into a centerpiece collaboration — Carl Bee, Genesi, Miss Monique with their signature melodic strength. Th;en follows with intensity, before Moonphazes takes the reins, setting the stage for the delicate levitation of Nery.

The momentum climbs higher as Svonco and Mariana Revilla push into darker territory, with KAF3R returning to add fuel. A triple appearance from SKIY balances the energy before Zemmco takes over again with Unchained, Disconnected, and Error 404, three IDs that form the raw backbone of this session.

In the middle act, the emotional flow continues through Joa, the fresh fusion of Moonphazes & DAMEN, and the drive of Wailey and PONGO. The atmosphere thickens as Against All Odds & Gareden drop into peak-time, followed by the soaring force of Seth Hills & DAMEN and the otherworldly pulse of 8Kays & Aurin (IN). Karry G adds raw club energy, while Glowal & Synthetix inject heavy edges that burn through the speakers.

Nihil Young returns with Harmonik Kontrol, reshaping the mood, and together with Unseen. & Ashkan Dian, the Vakabular remix of Hypnosis raises the energy again. Zemmco then delivers another personal explosion with Raggabomb, before Carl Bee and Roman guide the set toward its final transition.

The closing chapter arrives with a personal message — Zemmco’s own Fairy Lady, a gentle but powerful reminder of identity — before the final light comes from Susie Ledge, Miss Monique & P.O.U, bringing everything to a heartfelt and cinematic end.

Friday Session 36 is a complete journey — from hypnotic openings to techno-driven peaks, emotional mid-layers, and a soft but radiant farewell.
