Session 32 Summer Walker Cover 12-17-21

Recording process: rec. on iPhone in garageband, then imported into Logic Pro to enhance the audio quality. The first half & the second half were recorded a week apart; first half in separate tracks for guitar & vocals, second half in one take playing guitar & singing. I was tired during the second session & gave up trying to do it the longer way. love how it came out

First covered 11/13/22. Recorded this rough reference track in Logic Pro 11/15/22. Played & sang live, electric guitar & vocals on separate tracks. The guitar is so simple, yet so compelling. The entire idea came to me all at once after work 11/13. I've listened to this song by Sophie a hundred times, but on this day the lyrics took on a deeper meaning according to a relationship I was in. She's such a brilliant artist, her work inspires me.
