February 2023 Challenge.

This track is inspired by Mothense who composed a track called Workout for a great rhythm game called Melatonin.
The Workout track was chosen as a challenge between friends to try and do our own version of it but we had to keep the bass line.
So this is what I used my limited knowledge to come up with.

#1: Music In A Minonth Challenge - Melatonin: Workout (Fusion Ruff Cut)

This is the 'Music in a Month challenge #3'.  The requirements for this months challenge were:
1.  Create a funk or fusion track
2.  Must be a 4 piece band consisting of drums, bass, keys and guitar
3.  Each band member must do a 32 bar solo
4.  Needs to sound live in a venue of around 100 people

RSI Fusion Jam is what I came up with.  Everything is played by me to the best of my abilities.....mistakes and all just for that extra live feel :-)

#3: Music In A Month Challenge: RSI Fusion Jam

This is the 'Music in a Month challenge #4'. This month reharmonize the classic jazz standard Autumn Leaves by Joseph Kosma in 1945.

A: Chilling out while sipping on mohitos and inhaling that cigar smoke :-)

I struggled trying to mix and master this one.  Still a lot to learn.

#4: Music In A Month Challenge: Cuban LeaveZ

Criteria
 1.  Create any style of Metal track
 2. Track must contain 3 or more different time signatures.

This was a first for me to experiment with this genre and I still don't know if I got it right, lol.
I decided to use 7/4 as the main time signature wit a couple of 5/4 breaks and a 6/4 section in the middle somewhere.
I also roped in Allen for the singing but it didn't turn out as I'd hope so I took him out.

Criteria:
1.  Produce an original bossanova style track
2.  1 instrument must play chords
3.  All sounds must be produced using only your mouth.

This was an interesting challenge indeed but I managed it. ALL sounds were made using my mouth.  I've also put i a clue to next month's challenge :D

Criteria:
1.  Produce a track where the only melodic note that can be used is G#.

Music in a Month #9:
Criteria:
Create any Bob Marley tune but in a brass band style.  No guitars, bass, keys etc.  Only horns and drums.

I totally f'd up the mixing on this one due to time and also because of most instruments taking up the same frequency space.
