On ZR030 we are pleased to present our sophomore record for 2014's revamped launch of ZENBI RECORDINGS - After In My House - a Raging Techno release served up by Colombian producer Juan Ddd - with remixes from Rafa Barrios and Michele Pinna.  

Juan Ddd, born Juan Diego Mendoza Patiño, is coming off of a monster 2013.  With successful releases on Form, Definitive, 1605, and Spinnin Deep - artists like Umek, Sebastian Leger,  Stefano Noferini, Monika Kruse, and Uto Karem are taking notice and giving full support.  Juan Ddd's After In My House package is a nuclear powered techno submarine further armed to the hilt by Rafa Barrios' and Michele Pinna's weapons of dancefloor destruction.  

The Original Mix fires the first shot and craftily basses you into submission, not-so-gently building a steamroller of a groove that's got plenty of power and ample techno punch.  Rising Spanish Techno Star Rafa Barrios continues the barrage of musical assets, rooted by a fierce kick and rolling sub bassline that deftly raises the bar with not one but two massive breakdowns - each followed by a drop of seismic proportions.  Finally, Sardinian Producer Michele Pinna shows up, throws down - and takes the original's parts to another level of power, weight, and gate.  Boom.

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:

Sebastian Ledher is undoubtedly one of the most talented up-and-coming DJ/Producers I have had the pleasure to work with over the past few years. Born and bred in Colombia, Ledher now resides in Madrid, Spain (one of the world's tech house hot spots) where he is a collaborator on the Vicious Award Nominated Club Atlantic Radio Show - broadcast on over 150 radio stations worldwide!

As a producer, his distinctly organic percussive sound has rewarded him with success on an impressive list of labels including Deeperfect, Stereo Productions, Witty Tunes, Hotfingers, Natura Viva - and of course an fantastic release due out later this year on ZENBI RECORDINGS. The hardest part about working with your friend AND your mentor is that you set the bar so high for yourself that...well, let's just say this project has caused numerous sleepless nights.  Out of literally a dozen versions of this remix - two have made the final cut - this version - and a prior cut uploaded below.  "Saeed Younan" - percussive, tribal/tech house master...hopefully one of these remixes will live up to his name.  One remix version (hopefully one of the two posted) will be released - the other shredded and forever erased from musical history.  Please let me know which version you like best - feedback is GREATLY appreciated...as it will steer the ultimate direction/selection of this release!

Zenbi comes forth with a spectacular original entitled Down with a remix by Sertac Sahin. Down starts off with a solid kick and gradually takes on a very inviting R&B vocal that is catchy and memorable. Funky and groovy elements carry throughout and slowly taper off in a neat and polished way to finish into an uplifting crescendo. The remix by Sertac Sahin spaces things out a bit more furthering the escalation and physique to build tension and adding loops that twist the vocal to accompany the spiraling beats and make for a deeper vibe. The scintillating bassline gives Down a touch of elegance perfect for the dancefloor.

Zenbi first came to prominence on Saeed Younan's eponymous Younan Music label last year, remixing the imprint owner's Kumbalha alongside Sabb. Now he's back with a tasty solo effort on Germany's Great Stuff, with both of his aforementioned colleagues providing remixes. Double Trouble is a sleek little groove, and an exercise in simplicity. Tribal vocals and a descending, saucy bassline work their way around crisp, perfectly spaced percussion and techy rhythms to create a succinct, deft concoction. If it's not slick and smooth you're after though, four remixes from four very talented producers provide a suitably wide palette. Saeed Younan reaches for his box of tribal goodies to compliment the vocal, building on his bouncing, galloping groove with infectious wooden percussion and layers of light techy metalics upping the energy to bring the track to fever pitch. Sexy, seductive and ridiculously plump. Italian star Stefano Noferini reveals his techno edge with his pumping, rolling rework that marries incessant bass to a shoulder-popping rhythm, while UK's finest Filthy Rich brings his tribal tech A-game with a beautifully chunky, brooding version. Zenbi's partner-in-crime rounds off the package with a throbbing, cymbal ride heavy excursion that combines serious bass weight with a decided lightness of touch elsewhere.
