Execution - the last walk into death chamber and ultimately end of life. What does the per- son feel in the position of no escape from inevitable and what people in the viewing theatre feel? Fear, remorse, redemption, satisfaction or forgiveness?

Confession - the admission of guilt. The closing of a chapter and the relief it brings. 

Torment - pleasure and pain / hunter and prey. Both want the torment to be over but for opposite reasons.

God Bless Your Rotten Soul - despair and contempt felt in the execution viewing theatre. Tension is building up to the point silence before the final tick of the clock.

Deathsman - is he the ultimate serial killer who is simply doing his job? Inspired by the scene of convict shouting to deathsman that he is the real killer here. What if he is indeed?

London based Romek Boyer (AKA Rommek) & Aimée Mullen form the experimental, electronic act; Torn Relics. The body of their work is a mixture of cyber-punk electronics with tribalistic violin, rhythms and tones. Their debut EP, The Poisoned Chalice, was released on Sacred Court in 2019 and included a remix from SNTS. Abolish The Dogma, the duo's debut 8-track album was released in 2020 on Leyla records, which showcases the diversity of their production styles.

'Burning Injustice', the second album by Torn Relics, forthcoming on the Berlin based label Instruments of Discipline, weaves mythical and futuristic elements of an unknown world. Haunting, visceral and diverse in production styles, the duo continues to pave their own musical territory.

This album was written between 2017 - 2021, in which the music produced reflects the decay of the political and social landscape in the UK, from the Brexit divide to covid isolation. This music serves as an antidote in these turbulent times.

Prophän is the solo electronic music project of Othman Cherradi, based in Casablanca, Morocco. Cherradi runs the experimental techno label Rhadâb and is the co-founder, alongside Nova Ouacheb, of Mindless a series of live events, podcasts and radio broadcasts.

Prophän acknowledges a wide spectrum of musical inspirations, ranging from industrial and post-punk to the undeniable influence of local trance-inducing musical practices and customs that surround him in North Africa.

In Cherradi’s own words “This album is a culmination of all those influences and was formed at the beginning of the pandemic, a time of great confusion where I felt creating something new and authentic was the only way to get past the feelings of emptiness and impending doom. It is an attempt to bridge between islamo-sufism and industrial music . It was made with religious fear as a main motivation, the world is crumbling apart, the judgement day is nearing, repent before it's too late”.

Today we premiere Collision, the titletrack of the new release by Gateway X (https://soundcloud.com/gatewayx), which will be released by Monolith Records (https://soundcloud.com/monolith-records) on 28th December 2020 in mini CD and digital format. 

Collision is a gateway opening towards a different dimension evoking certain sci-fi movies and cyberpunk literature with its cold and distant sounds. It's a song dominated by a rhythm both recalling rhythmic noise music and the hardcore/punk and noise roots of these musicians, as the repetition of the rhythm and the rough sounds recall the DIY attitude and the sound of punk music, and as noise is an important element of their sound.

Squaric is one of the artists who has been most revalued in recent years thanks to his great recording work on Diffuse Reality and the daring commitment of this label in the form of a festival, such as Teorema, an event based in Barcelona, which has also had different editions in major cities around the world.

Teorema is a festival aimed specifically at increasing the potential of new talents, where creativity is broken down to show the public an elaboration process based on research and the externalisation of an idea, a presentation that reveals the development of a work, from experimentation to its conclusion, separating each ingredient and explaining to the audience some of the steps to follow.

It is precisely from these events that this new album emerges. Noise Elemental is a release that compiles different performances by Squaric himself, recordings with an extreme sound treatment and without harmonic alterations.
