She will take you on a journey through her intricate world of music, from ambient soundscapes to classic House. With a background in piano, guitar, and saxophone, Zenim has developped her style over the years, eventually transitioning to DJing in 2016. Come and join us on this journey... and off we go!

Amman-born DJ and selector Zenim has spent the last ten years exploring and collecting music. Influenced by traditional sounds of the levant, her playful style weaves different eras, genres and sounds bringing a lightness in dancefloors across the region and beyond. 

Zenim’s approach to music is shaped by her lifelong deep dives into countless sub genres and instruments, from playing the saxophone to 90s hip hop. Through DJing over the last 8 years, she's developed a playful style that weaves together different eras, genres, and sounds. The aim is to always bring light, surprise and groove to dance floors around the world, from Zanzibar to Toronto.

@Zenim joins Mixmag MENA's Influx mix series, bringing her skills as a DJ and selector whose sets reflect a broad musical curiosity shaped by years of collecting and sharing records.

A dedicated selector since 2017, she draws from her global record collection, honed through her Radio Alhara residency, to deliver sets full of light and groove. Co-founder of By Jello, she also crafts unique musical events worldwide.

In her Influx set, she weaves in gems like Stress aka Maurice Fulton’s "Tarzan Girl", Swirl Underground’s "Make Up Your Mind", Jook’s "Citronic" and Daniel Wang’s "Disco Delay" to craft a groove-filled experience.
