CALMCHAOS EP explores acoustical landscapes referred to the concepts of Entropy, Chaos and Organization, through a mental path between Techno, Electronic and Glitch suggestions. Deep, evolving pads keep chasing each other, while rhythmic elements interlace the plot traced by the three tracks composing the EP. Short and long sounds interchange, thus creating a total and hypnotic immersion in the particular emotion that characterizes the whole EP. Clean and distorted sounds are carefully dosed, in order to compose a mind experience, even before an acoustical one. Released for Resiliens Recordings in 2015. Zenø is an electronic music producer based in Rome, Italy. Born in Naples in the end of 70s, he's one of the founders of Martux_M Crew, a group of artists focused on the production of electronic-Jazz performances and LP's, where electronic suggestions are mixed with acoustic instruments played by renowned Jazz artists. Since the mid 90's, Zenø is active in the Ambient and Experimental music scene of Rome, with live sets and audiovisual performances, within a project called Lanvideosource. Since the 2000s he shifted his attention towards the dance floor, starting his career as a Techno producer and live performer, also driven by the collaboration with the Club Brancaleone of Rome.  His artistic references are tied to Ambient and audiovisual artists such as Pan American, Pole, Rechenzentrum but his work is also strongly influenced by the Berlin underground Techno scene of the 2000s.
Zenø is also a visual artist and a researcher in the field of Neurosciences, a passionate investigator of human emotions and perceptions and his sound ideally incorporates elements coming from his researches. Hence, his productions are constantly permeated with a sense of depth and introspection that drives the audience toward the deepest and most emotional part of their brain.
