Hypersynchrony is a work of Electroacoustic music that took as its subject the phenomenology of different states of consciousness as experienced through the practice of 'The Silva Mind Control Method'. The piece was composed at the University of Limerick in 2002 and was originally mixed in 5.1 surround sound. 

Part II 'Alpha Lab' is a study in auditory entrainment with the 'Alpha' range of brain wave frequencies. The perceived modulation periods of sound objects goes from approximately 14Hz down to 7Hz over the course of its duration.
