I wrote this song about an authentic relationship I had with someone a while back. There is nothing more beautiful than being able to be yourself around someone. I believe that yes it can fucking break your heart when you risk trusting someone, but the memories, knowledge and strength you gain out of these situations makes it worth it. I know my heartbreak made me who I am to some extent, that is why I don’t regret anything. This song is also inspired by my daughter, who will be born anytime.
