Upbeat song about the fact that the Holy God chose to live as we are, for us.

Still a bit rough round the edges in places, but you get the idea. Might benefit from a second verse replacing the repeated first.

Holy Holy God

My one and only attempt (at least so far) at music without a normal metre/beat.

I started with a sampled Youtube video of a tennis rally! Once i'd isolated the tennis shots to  use as the metre I laid down a simple chord progression, which I later removed. Then I added the flute counterpoint melodies, and the drone, and replaced the tennis hits with some percussion hits from Logic. I wanted the source of the piece to be referenced, hence the crowd and commentator at the end.

A song written by Jake Wain (Jacob and the Sound) and myself. Essentially about the faithfulness of God in our faithlessness.

Recorded in Logic. All keyboard sounds and guitar effects from within Logic too.

Mostly worship music, but all kinds of stuff in me.
The best experience ever is when you're lost in music and find yourself lost in God. One day maybe I will write something that gives that to people, God willing.
