Played originally at Asheville Movement Collective on May 12th, 2023. Re-recorded and refined some transitions before publishing it two days later.

The theme for this dance is inspired by a poem referenced in many Hollywood films, perhaps most notably in the blockbuster movie “Interstellar.” Written by Welsh poet Dylan Thomas in 1947, it has been suggested that it was written for his dying father.

This ecstatic dance set explores the theme of interstellar and inter-dimensional travel both through the portal of dying, and through the portal of distorted perceptions caused by love, desire, fear, angst, and rage. It will resolve itself into a space where surrender, grief and courage can take root before taking flight.

MUSICAL MOON MUSING EXPERIMENT - Sept. 17th / 2020 to Aug. 22nd / 2021 ( This ones a bit late )

When we did this project back in 2020 / 2021 the Sagittarius Full Moon was in a full lunar eclipse, and when your doing a moon musing mix that can pose a problem. lol. So, we turned inward and skipped this mix to reflect, turn inward and grow from our experiences. Today on June 4rd - 4th, 2023 we get to finally finish this series in proper big Sagittarius Fire fashion!! Get ready to dance, smile and release.

This is the final installment in a 12 Synodic month journey to capture the correlation between sound, emotion and cosmic energy. Each mix is created within the 13 hours leading up to the crest of the moon cycle which is the best time to harness the power of the new / full moon. Through meditation and connecting to the current astrological energy ( signs, planets & elements ) I then create a DJ mix from that inspiration. This mix is a product of that process. This is a collaborative project with Amaris ( Tanya Lee ) from Body Art Motion who has consulted on the overall project as well as provided the incredible opening & closing meditations.

If you know me well, you know how impactful plant medicines have been in my life journey. Mindful experiences with plant medicines have opened universal truths I had not previously understood and continue propelling my spiritual growth to joys I felt not attainable in this lifetime. I feel that I am a better human and a better father with these medicines in my life.

Six months in the making, I am humbly offering a very special set dedicated to exploring the furthest reaches of consciousness, guiding one to opening the doors of perception, and...my greatest hope...empowering a breakthrough moment and union with all that Is.

This set is ideally experienced within the context of a psilocybin medicine journey (and well suited for meditation and other compound sits as well).

After a 25 min awaiting-onset intro of binaural beats, the set takes the listener through a series of "soothing" and "deepening" waves, each segment lasting about 30 minutes. The final 30 minutes is a celebration of life and an invitation to begin the path of integration.

If you intend to use this set as the music guide for your psilocybin sit, I welcome you to wait to listen until that time and to start playing it as soon as you've imbibed - preferably in the presence of a trained practitioner. If you find a song particularly challenging, ask yourself what the experience is trying to teach you, give in, and give it a few more minutes; new sounds with new energies will follow.
