Heir on our Chest is a song about coming of age in all its forms. Growing up in a strange new land, finding that you arent young any more and that habits might hold you back. It is a song of hope essentially, but this song shows a side of the band still much unseen. Acoustic guitar were a crucial component in the writing of this song.

Hot Cakes is some Southern Rock. Imagine two old men at a bar, talking about women, and all kinds of women. Everyone can hear them ranting, but no one interrupts or is aggressed. They all want to hear what the old creeps have to say about those hot cakes. Its a song influenced by desire. Questions to the limp lover. A planet, dark in the sky, are they still alive?

New Blues is the Zephyr Heirs' first attempt at a blues original. A song of loneliness in a crowd. A song of hunger at a banquet. New Blues asks us to examine what we have and what we want. At points it is dark, this is a song where the word cuts the more it keeps being unheard.

The Song That Shant Be Named (TSTSBN) is the galactic space chase among the good and the bad. On foot, a horse, a train, boats with great sails, fast cars, motor cycles,  aircrafts, submarines, spaceships, and travel, all the while through time.

A fuck you through and through to systematic conditioning.

There are no limits to how cruel a man might say he is, but let words keep ringing in empty air should it never become action.
