Between 1 April 2022 and 30 September 2022, food banks in the Trussell Trust’s UK-wide network distributed 1.3 million food parcels to people facing hardship – this is an increase of 52% compared to the same period in 2019. Half a million of these parcels were distributed to children. The charity says that for the first time, need for emergency food is outstripping donations as the cost of living emergency is leading to a drastic increase in the number of people turning to food banks for support.

With this situation being more urgent than ever, we are delighted to announce our 2nd charity compilation will be raising funds for the Trussell Trust. Not only providing incredibly vital, immediate support to people facing hardship, the charity also works tirelessly towards the goal of ending the need for food banks in the UK.

Spanning genres and tempos, reticulation stands as the label’s most ambitious project to date, and owes its thanks to the immense talent and generosity of the 20 producers involved.

Reuniting after last year’s single Soultouch, Vief are delighted to be partnering with Size 13 boss Tortuga for the artist’s debut EP, Feel. Following a string of acclaimed singles on the likes of Gimme A Break, algo:riddims and ROADKILL, Feel spans several years of work and a variety of genres, all the while retaining Tortuga’s signature synthlines and percussive flair throughout.
