I really like the banjo, but I don't hear it much in electronic music, so I think I make a small space for it on some of my tracks. It adds a bit more fun to the mood of the work. With this track I also took some synth from the 1980s style as the main theme.

This time I really mixed it up to create something crossing genres and moods. Using oboe, sitar and a 70s funk rhythm as the theme which reminded me of old cop shows like Starsky and Hutch I used to watch when I lived in Chicago.

Big Funk Rajah

I'm a DJ from Berlin, but I spent some time on the Chicago and London club scene. My influences include Sven Dhose, Dirty Doering, Sascha Cowa and Britta Arnold,  though I'm a bit more pop than house and I like to put some playful stuff in with the beats.
