Keeping it short, the band started off when Rusho Khan left Mechanix in order to pursue his own corporate career. But it was soon clear to him that its practically impossible to live without music, hence the idea of the new band.

Diganto Samad was taken in as the voice of the band. Naim from Nagorik was taken in as the drummer. The guitarists Tahsin and Topu completed the lineup and ZerG started the jams around january 2011.

Just after to the formation of the band, Tahsin had to move to Canada to continue his studies, but he still remains as a integral member of the band. Naim left the band due to personal reasons. Farhan Tanveer filled in as the drummer but for personal reason's he had leave the band and to fill up the spot permanently we took Asif Mahmood as a drummer for the band and Golam Saif Irfan was taken in from Defiance to do his duty in the guitar section.

ZerG started working on their full length album and plans to give in a few songs through some compilation albums before that as well.
