One of fav things to do in the past few years has been experimenting with mashups - between songs and between genres. I think there’s a lot of room for creativity there.

This time, I thought of making a mash-up between two songs of the same name, which proved to be super interesting, cause the lyrics connect in a funny way.

First song’s Money Maker by Throttle, which is a tribute to Elmore James’s 60’s classic Shake Your Money Maker. Throttle’s song is dancey, with lots of strings, and its bridge is energetic as hell.

Second song’s Hawk’s Money Maker, which is a bang-your-head-against-the-wall bass house song, with an awesome bassline. Its one lyric is not very PGA-friendly, I don’t agree with the message it sends off, and almost didn’t make the song b/c of it. But then I remembered why I changed my stage name to Zero Brainy – I tend to overthink things, and in music I just want to feel. To make it all about the music. So here it is.
