This is an instrumental I made sampling a song called 'Losing Keys' by one of my favorite singers, Jack Johnson. The mellow vibe of the song was something I found perfect and I HAD to sample it. Hope you enjoy it.

THIS! This is a remix of one of my many favourite Jay Z songs. Kanye West's production for this beat, that sample.. everything made it irresistible for me. I HAD to cover this song. I know some people (eg. D Pryde and George Watsky) have covered this song and they established a certain vibe for this song, but I chose to go on a slightly different path. Intro - This might be offensive to some people, so I’ll put this out there for some of you who have a problem with Zero…
I don’t give a fuck about your problems or opinions, I’m just tryna spit some shit, that to me, is real.
Verse 1 - I started out, when I was eleven, burning CD’s of my favorite rappers in secret, so I could listen to ‘em/ The ideals encouraged by this genre was something that opened my mind  and sparked my interest in rap music./ But I was worried about reactions to this passion/ Most of the people I knew then, thought I was a joke for rappin’./ I remember the laughin’. Verse 2 - I share a love hate relationship with my hometown.  Fuck all excitement, when I get told that I’m homebound. ‘cus all I wanna do is get out there and kill it, but they’d rather hold me back with they’re so called restrictions.
And FUCK all their opinions and if you ‘gree with ‘em then FUCK YOU. Talkin’ bout my life and how I live and what I shouldn’t do.
And fuck all these relatives tryna influence my decisions. How DARE you, when for half my life, ya’ll were missing.  And all these people who talk like “Wow man, you can spit!” were the same people who said I wouldn’t amount to shit. And how dare you motherfuckers try and justify all these lies, when the truth is, you’d rather see me down than see me fly.

Though I don't listen to a lot of her music, I do admire Adele. And her song 'I'll Be Waiting' turned into an instant favourite of mine.  So I figured I'd sample it, for fun! I tried to keep the original song's badass (for the lack of a better term) mood intact and tried to give it a busy and hard rap sound. I'd like to think it turned out well. Hopefully, you guys'll like it too!

Alright, what you have here is 4 tracks of improvised covers - and I use the term really lightly. Me and Wynona decided to cover some of our favourite songs on a whim and the result is this. Keep in mind that this was meant to be an improvised jam session and the mistakes you hear on this playlist may or may not have been intentional.
