Dustin O'Halloran - An What is Unknown

The expanded double CD re-issue of The Licence To Interpret Dreams will be released late August / early September 2018. The original multitracks have been refreshed to give a new life to the album. Alongside this there is an additional CD, which features remixes by Marconi Union, Hummingbird, The Humble Bee, Tape Loop Orchestra, Peter Jørgensen, Ben Chatwin, Ian Hawgood, Aaron Martin, Olan Mill, Bill Seaman, Field Rotation, Antonymes and Clem Leek. The remixes are very special and the whole thing has been lovingly remastered by James Plotkin.

This very limited album comes out on the wonderful Fluid Audio imprint and will include a 24 page perfect bound book housed in a heavyweight card sleeve.

A Light From The Heavens

The title DeeDee is a clue to the approach behind it’s creation and the whole track is a larger hint for what’s in store on the EP. D and E are the pitches around which the track is built, but these notes are also taken from an earlier release and this is the theme of the track and the EP. It is all made from bits and pieces of Leah’s previous releases that have been reconstituted and repurposed to create new music (A copyright lawyers nightmare). The single also has birds as a theme at it’s heart which is evident from the video for DeeDee which breaks up flocks and murmurations of birds into patterns which mesmerise and at times resemble Rorschach tests.

DeeDee is out on 11th Feb with the full EP 'Bird Rib' out on 19th March.
