You’d be hard pushed to find bigger debuts for tracks than at Ultra Miami, but getting three dropped across the weekend by both Axwell/\Ingrosso and a reunited Swedish House Mafia is dream factory levels.

Axtone Records is excited to welcome a new Dutch duo to the label, production and DJ powerhouse in the making. Robin & Maurice aka Magnificence.

Starting April 27th, the trio of singles will be released ultimately forming the Magnificence EP that will be landing May 11th.

First up is ‘Cobra’ followed by ‘Fire’ alongside Seth Hills with the final single ‘Out Of My Mind’ alongside Steff da Campo completing the EP.

For the cover art Axtone presents a new artist for the label, French by origin but Tokyo based Quentin Deronzier who has certainly kept it in the Axtone universe whilst moving it to his own galaxy.

Martin Garrix’s secret weapon from Seth Hills & Crime Zcene 
‘Echo’ finally sees the light of day

There’s always something special about a track that’s allowed to marinate and build hype slowly over time. Ever since Seth Hills & Crime Zcene’s storming ‘Echo’ track first appeared in Martin Garrix’s sets months back, fans have been clamouring with hundreds of ‘ID?’ requests every time he plays it.

Receiving another memorable airing in Garrix’s Ultra Miami set, where Seth Hills also jumped on stage during the STMPD RCRDS stage set, ‘Echo’ is finally ready to be unleashed on the world for all to enjoy and use for dancefloor destruction.

Brooding atmospheric layers, gnarly bass and filtered acidic synths conjure a dark mood in the intro that gives a nod of what’s to come. Chattering snare rolls lift us to the drop, where a minimalist groove stutters away with throbbing sub and snapping, crunchy beats. Brief vocal cut-ups and more rhythm to the groove, and the stripped-back structure contrasts with the maximalist sound palette. The distorted acid rises in the breaks over on-beat claps and synth risers before the track again builds and slams us back into the manic groove. It’s an exercise in simplicity and subtlety, taking nods from techno as well as electro house.

The fourth releases on STMPD RCRDS for Seth Hills after the massive Julian Jordan collab ‘Backfire’, this new jam is set to propel this young talent into exciting new reaches.

Mateusz Dziewulski - better known by his artist name Skytech - is already a household name in his home country of Poland, and the rest of the world is soon to follow. His name first appeared on the map when R3HAB discovered his original track "Tiger" and then helped Skytech to put final production touches on it, proving to be a winning team after "Tiger" skyrocketed to over 100M streams on all platforms. Since then, the two have worked on numerous tracks together via the CYB3RPVNK imprint, fusing their sounds to make music that is club and festival friendly while never sacrificing substance and soul. Since then, Skytech has been touring around the world, increasing his global footprint with every electrifying live performance. In 2017, Skytech was the most streamed Polish act on Spotify and debuted at Tomorrowland, while in 2018 he came in a close second on the Polish Spotify charts right after Frideric Chopin. He's already off to a strong start and is committed to releasing more music than ever in 2019, so this year is looking to be the best yet.
