NaureSaïd est un projet créé par Alex, inspiré par de nombreux styles musicaux de 1998 à aujourd'hui, tels que techno, house, trance, drum n' bass, trip-hop, chillout…

Le projet voit le jour en 2010 après plusieurs séjours en Inde. Alex y retourne plusieurs fois pour parfaire son apprentissage du sitar et de la musique indienne. Une série de concerts vient ensuite agrémenter son style, entre musique techno, trance et chillout, lors de nouveaux voyages en Thaïlande, au Népal, en Inde… et aussi dans des pays d’Europe comme la Suisse, la Hollande, la Portugal, l’Allemagne et la France. En 2011 il intègre le label Oréades Prod (Paris) puis en 2016 le label Sunna Records (Munich).

Naure Said is a project created by Alex, inspired from 1998 to today; much influence between music techno, house, trance, drum n 'bass, trip hop, chillout .This project was created in 2010 after several trip in India he continued to travel in this country for learning the sitar and Indian music. Several concerts embellished his style of music between techno, trance and chillout music, through his trips to Thailand, Nepal, India and some countries in Europe such as Switzerland, Holland, Portugal, Germany and several gigs also to his active in France. In 2011 he joined the label Oréades Prod (Paris) then in 2016 the label Sunna Records (Munich).

INDEX:Records alum vase (aka Downstairs People; games) and label-head Conna Haraway team up as ‘Department’ to deliver a two-track mini-epic of sprawling brooding soundscapes and future-facing rhythms, via finely chiseled abstract outbursts and widescreen cinematic depth of field. (Additional live instrumentation comes courtesy of Glasgow-based staev, and INDEX:Rec affiliate MCRD supplies intuition suggestions.)

Starting off as a proper serene slice of beatless musing, 'Cogent' slowly hatches into a rhythmic shape-shifter combining the immersive power of elastic sound membranes with the incisiveness of post-industrial breaks, leaning towards IDM-oid fractals and signature UK bass menace.

All in vaporous piano chords (cue: staev), heavily dubbed-out layers and FX-coated emotion, 'Recovery' beckons us onto the path of soulful elation with its poignant melange of brittle stabs and skittish drum patterns gone astray. Dark and solar at once, the track blends cavernous entrancement with verbed-out RnB samples and percussive trenchant on a steely, broken techno tip.

Ethereal like a mirage yet daunting as the four elements boiling up a storm, Department's debut two-tracker is an elusive piece of sewn-together sketches exuding the sheer magnitude of a master painting in sound.

I started producing this track on a beautiful beach in Thailand  with a simple software on a small laptop using some wave-sounds a friend of mine sent me via e-mail...it was the perfect additional way for relaxation besides parties and excursions to the sea.  When I came back home more then a half year later, I finished the track in my homestudio. The track resulted as a summery of my travel through Asia in 2011/2012. an unforgettable experience with dj-performances in Goa/India, Koh Phangan and Bangkok/Thailand and Pokhara/Nepal :) .......................om nama shivaya
