Somebody had a really good 2A03 rendition of this song but their account is sadly lost to the ages. But I think this song is great and converts well to 8-bit (maybe because the composer is well-known for chiptune). I think it sounds kinda like Mole Mania.

This, combined with the fact that I've been watching a lot of pannenkoek2012 lately, led me to this cover. It's fashioned after Big Boo's Haunt.

It's officially fall (or autumn) and you know what happens in fall? Wind! Too much of it, in fact! 

So to commemorate the season, I've covered Wind Man's theme as part of my very first multi-chip endeavor (technically any expansion with 2A03 is "multi-chip" but whatever).

Also I dunno if any of you noticed but I got a new avatar. It was made by cionaodh (who also drew the previous one).

I started out with a Freeze Man cover because he's chilly, and I used Sonic Advance 2 samples because I always thought his song sounded like something from a Sonic Advance game (even though Freeze Man existed before the GBA did, don't question it).

Anyway, Holiday Month continues, and here you get another song for the occasion. At least it’s not Jingle Bell Rock, or one of the dozen similar-sounding songs they play non-stop at department stores.

I’m a bit of a Smash junkie, so Rivals of Aether is a game that appeals to me because it’s basically indie Melee. But I’m merely a spectator because I don’t have an Xbone and I’m too cheap to buy a new PC controller.

I heard a song in Wal-Mart yesterday that sounded a lot like Flash Man's theme but I haven't been able to identify it. However, it did inspire me to make this.

MM2GB's main theme has a nice melody but I always thought it was a little too bare-bones for Mega Man, so with this remix I tried to have more stuff going on in the background. Plus it's a good chance to use some of those MM7 samples I haven't used before.

1) It's just a good song 
2) They recently announced Mega Man X Legacy Collection which will have all 8 main MMX games, and it's on the Switch so they're portable now! 
3) For years I've been wanting to do a cover of this song that used triangle kicks

I've never really been able to really get into blues-key-centric music but I thought maybe there was something here I could work with. I wasn't even really planning to use MMX samples but the brass and slap bass are really good for this kind of song.

I picked Mega Man X2 samples for this cover since I hadn't used those in a while. Also the sax sample is really nice.
