Magma Monolith is another theme that was not composed for the original Nexus soundtrack. The original Magma Monolith theme was never settled on, and this is remake of a track I wrote in 2012 called "Magma." It is included in Nexus Genesis because it still fits the bill! Act 2 is faster and more syncopated, reminding you not to stay inside a volcano for too long!

Do you remember? That heavenly melody? The one and only?? SQUID SISTERS! I'm unbelievably happy over the fact that Toru Minegishi and Shiho Fujii managed to outdo themselves with the final boss theme in Splatoon 2 after the first one was such a banger! Original from Smurf's Nightmare on the GB, composed by Alberto J. González. This cover was made in PMD MML for the YM2608 on the PC-98 with the extra 86 PCM

Mostly based on his Korg X5DR remake of the track, but tried to fill in elements from the original version of the track.
It's basically verbatim, done as both ear and FM design training.

[PC-98 Remix] Another World - Smurfs' Nightmare

It's Stickerbrush Symphony! Or StickerBUSH, if you're pedantic. Nothing I can say about this song that hasn't already been said before, but I do like it a lot and wanted to pay homage to DKC2 in general with this cover. It's a really good game and it gives me the warm feelies.

Y'know, with the exception of a couple tiny parts, this song isn't as hard to cover as I initially thought it would be. Which is good because I'm lazy and wouldn't have ever finished this if it were like wicked difficult.
