MANTi returns to Kiosk ID with ‘Numa’, a four-track EP that infuses her beauSfully textured synth work with chord-crazed nostalgia and an eclecSc rigour that transforms her hovering melodics into spaced-out dancefloor
weapons.

Opening with the roller of the set, ‘Numa’ weaves a beauSful tapestry of melodic threads—warm saws, dramaSc pads, metallic jolts—gradually and anthemically, atop a throbbing carpet of bass and white-noise drums. Enveloped in layers of wondrous pads, Numa tells a vast and dramaSc epic within the framework of a
crushing dancefloor track. ‘Shade’ delivers an eclecSc disco-infused groover. OscillaSng between dark percussive drum structures, shimmering tambourines, funky guitar plucks, and a nasal, spaced-out synth traversing fluidly above an
infecSous groove, Shade is an eclecSc system shock, complete with ravey piano stabs and breakbeat insert.

Unexpected, cosmic, and powerfully musical.

With ‘Halo’, MANTi leans into a playful and exploratory sense of complexity—found-sound percussion, pitch-shiking synths, piano chord chops, and spaced-out vocal eﬀects orbit a steadily hovering tone. Anchored by a relentless bassline, Halo armully oscillates between wild escalaSon and a stripped and eﬀecSve core. Closing track ‘Ashes’ unearths cycling figures of ethnically charged percussive grooves. Cascading chimes, cavernous synth impacts, and a morphing, soothing bass lead unfold a slow-burning roller rich in contrast—warm, spaced-out, drum-centric, and heavy in atmosphere.

With Numa, MANTi delivers an eclecSc foursome that fuses richly textured melodies with—you name it—Disco, Chord House, Breakbeat, or her own brand of percussive and tonal experimentaSon. Numa ends up both inSmate and expansive—designed for dancefloors, rooted in sonic storytelling, and at the bleeding edge of dance music.

In Hindu Philosophy and some Indian religions, samskaras or sanskaras (Sanskrit: संस्कार) are mental impressions, recollections, or psychological imprints that colour one's thoughts and actions, and form the basis for the development of karma theory.
In Buddhism, the Sanskrit term samskara is used to describe "mental formations," "will," and many other concepts; in Pāli it is referred to as saṅkhāra.

According to various schools of Indian philosophy, every action, intent or preparation by an individual leaves a samskara (impression, impact, imprint) in the deeper structure of the person's mind. These impressions then await volitional fruition in that individual's future, in the form of hidden expectations, circumstances or a subconscious sense of self-worth. These Samskaras manifest as tendencies, karmic impulses, subliminal impressions, habitual potencies or innate dispositions.
