A couple of quick sets during intermissions of Cumbe: Center for African and Diaspora Dance's Feathers and Freedom burlesque fundraising event.

All sets were completely improv, minimal cues set (before the show) or playlists made (unless they were already set from previous sets). I did some editing in post for your listening pleasure, because I did have to adjust volume levels and things from time to time for people to speak on the mic.

This is two sets in one, I did roughly 3-4 in total but I didn't record all because I just hopped on throughout the show whenever they requested background music. These are the first and last.

This is an instrumental I made on Thursday. It was a little too weird for my friend to rap on, so up it goes. I didn't know it at the time but this is 12 tone, the technique is a means of ensuring that all 12 notes of the chromatic scale are sounded as often as one another in a piece of music while preventing the emphasis of any one note. Take a listen.
