Returning to Purified Records, Russian duo Garlington present their evocative ‘Chasing The Moment’ EP. Opening with ‘Remorse’, they set a reflective mood with emotive melodies and a subtly grooving rhythm, building a rich sense of depth and atmosphere. ‘Weightless’ follows with a lighter touch - blending crisp percussion, airy textures, and luminous piano chords into an elegant indie dance moment. Taken by Rachel Moore, the ‘Chasing The Moment’ EP artwork features waves crashing on a barrier reef on the island of Mo’orea, French Polynesia. Rachel is a professional underwater photographer and environmental advocate dedicated to capturing the wonders of marine life. With a special focus on the grace and intelligence of humpback whales, her storytelling inspires a deeper connection to the ocean and a commitment to its preservation.

French Polynesia is home to one of the world’s largest and most remote marine protected areas. HoTL Records shows no sign of slowing down to end their momentous year, giving David Tort’s classic ‘Lost In Acid’ the remix treatment from Abel Ramos, Henrix & Digital Lab, DJ Mara & Sebastian Ledher and DJ Diass.

The original mix previously smashed Beatport charts, and has been remastered to pull the classic record into 2015. Abel Ramos takes the acid inspiration of the original record and reconstructs it into an relentless mainstage weapon, the intertwining bass and topline synth surging with energy. No strangers to successful collaborations, Henrix & Digital Lab’s deceiving intro makes way for a monstrously resonant bass, staggered perfectly between pounding kicks.

DJ Mara & Sebastian Ledher take their remix down an alternative route, the classic house stabs and pads of the original complemented by intricate percussive rhythms. The standout package is completed by Bulgaria’s DJ Diass, the rolling hi-hats pushing the track forwards alongside a now trademark groove-laden bassline.

David Tort is one of the most influential Spanish artists in the electronic music scene thanks to his studio work and powerful DJ sets around the world. David is a regular fixture in the Miami club scene, and his dynamic style and technical ability has taken him to festivals including Tomorrowland, Summerland and Summerburst.
