The ‘So Far To The End’ EP artwork is an aerial photograph of the glacial river Ölfusá on Iceland’s south coast, taken by Jan Erik Waider. A fine art photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan is known for capturing abstract landscapes of the northern latitudes. With a focus on water, ice, and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty hidden in the subtle details of the world around us.The dynamic forces shaping Iceland’s glacial rivers also sustain its rich marine ecosystems, where conservation efforts are crucial to protecting biodiversity. Ocean Missions (@oceanmissionsiceland) is an Iceland-based NGO using science, education, and adventure to protect Arctic marine ecosystems. Through citizen-science expeditions, they study whales, seabirds, and plastic pollution, inspiring action for ocean conservation.

Returning to Purified Records, Amsterdam-based artist Milan Steenwinkel unveils his ‘Broken Dreams’ EP - a striking two-track release that firmly establishes his place within the melodic techno landscape. The ‘Broken Heart’ EP artwork is a photograph taken by Juan Mora of oceanic manta rays (Mobula birostris) in Revillagigedo National Park, Mexico. A Colombian biologist, UW photographer, and expedition leader, Juan has dedicated his life and work to ocean advocacy. His camera serves as a powerful tool to share his passion and highlight the importance of protecting our planet.

This mission is shared by COBI (Comunidad y Biodiversidad) (@cobi_mx), a Mexican NGO rooted in community and driven by a deep commitment to ocean conservation. By working hand in hand with coastal fishers, advancing sustainable practices, and generating knowledge through participatory science, COBI helps safeguard marine life and the livelihoods that depend on it. Their work is a powerful reminder that when real people on the frontlines lead, conservation becomes not just possible, but enduring.
