Utrecht-based producer Corren Cavini marks a defining moment in his career with his debut album, ‘A Place To Call Home’. Spanning 11 tracks, the record blends expansive melodic techno with intimate, cinematic passages, exploring themes of memory, connection and the evolving meaning of “home.” Several tracks -  including ‘Tell Me’ and ‘Heart Of Gold’ featuring Chris Howard, as well as ‘Listen To The Silence’ and ‘Agoraphobia’ have been shared ahead of the release, offering early glimpses into the album’s emotional depth and intricate sonic architecture. 

The record unfolds like a carefully guided journey: introspective passages give way to soaring crescendos, delicate textures are juxtaposed with propulsive rhythms and tender vocals emerge amidst richly layered arrangements. Across its 11 tracks, Cavini weaves a cohesive narrative that balances cinematic scope with human intimacy, creating an immersive world where emotional resonance and dancefloor energy coexist effortlessly.

Huminal teams up with Dutch producer Mitch de Klein for the mesmerizing ‘Mirage’ EP, marking Mitch’s debut on Purified Records. Opening with the collaborative title track, ‘Mirage’, the duo delivers a deep yet playful journey built around groovy synth motifs and textured sound design, blending driving momentum with an effortlessly laidback edge. Intricate layers of rhythm and harmony create a uniquely infectious identity, perfectly balancing energy and finesse. On the flip side, Mitch presents his solo cut ‘Night Owl’ - an atmospheric excursion guided by emotive synth lines and expansive break moments. With its otherworldly character and evolving intensity, the track delivers a powerful late-night voyage. Together, ‘Mirage’ and ‘Night Owl’ showcase both artists’ refined approach to melodic techno and deep house, while introducing Mitch’s sound to the Purified community.

Taken by Rachel Moore, the ‘Mirage’ EP artwork features a delicate jellyfish drifting gracefully through the endless blue of French Polynesia. Rachel is a professional underwater photographer and environmental advocate dedicated to capturing the wonders of marine life. With a special focus on the grace and intelligence of humpback whales, her storytelling inspires a deeper connection to the ocean and a commitment to its preservation.

The Nature Conservancy (@nature_org) works to protect French Polynesia and beyond by restoring coral reefs, safeguarding marine habitats, and advancing sustainable practices in coastal communities. Through science-based solutions and global collaboration, they aim to ensure the ocean remains resilient for both marine life and people.

Guy Andrews often found himself seeking some form of musical escapism prior to his DJ sets, leading him to one day return home and delete all of his old synth patches. “I’m starting this again with the aim to actually really enjoy what I’m doing” he thought, as he embarked on a musical reinvention of himself. So begun his writing for his debut album ‘Our Spaces’, over a period of two years. 

Ignoring previously used DJ-friendly structures, tempos, and mix downs, ‘Our Spaces’ breathes a new power and directness, as Guy has re-focused his approach and style. Breaking free from previous genre constraints, he was finally able to simply write and express what was in his head. This paradigm shift is immediately evident from the album’s opening bars, with its emphatic percussion and reeling distortions a perennial feature throughout the album. This sonic aggression, however, is paralleled with a sensitivity and zeal that really adds a level of depth that is often hard to communicate consistently in album format.

The return of Michael Klein was imminent. Considering the magnitude of his last offering, the „Drawing EP“, it was only a matter of time before he returned with another stellar parcel of forward thinking dance floor bombshells. With his latest contribution ‚Metals EP’, Michael presents four stunning numbers displaying not only his trademark sound, but his evolution and range as a highly promising new artist.
The expedition kicks off with „Silver“ and with it a lush presentation of the perfect balance between thrust and elation. While a persistent rush of momentum keeps the pace, slow yet infectious rises and vast ethereal cries of spacious flickers set the stage for a cosmic ride reminiscent of indigenous settings with boundless, star lit skies.
Following suit on the A side sees Michael return to his approach heard on his last EP. Somewhere between the traditional fundamentals and the future stylings of the most distinguished techno lies „Opaque“. With incredible force and exuberance, Klein delivers off kilter grooves that create a contagious, sweat laden exhilaration, nothing short of pure warehouse bliss.
Kicking off the B side is „Outer Shell“ and it is by far the most emotional and cosmic of all the tunes. Opulent melodics construct beams of radiant light found only in the outer reaches of deep space as flashes of meteoric rises and low bursts of impetus propel the auditor into a never-ending journey into a place where time and space cease to exist.
Wrapping things up is a slow burner entitled „Dura 2 feat. aGhost“. A tune that can be played fast or at the slower original speed, it's a beautiful demonstration of resistance and inflection. As chants of a mysterious female fill the room, shimmers of lavish chimes circle slowly to secure an impassioned sentiment of sorrow, excitement and desire.
To compliment the beauty of 'Dura 2' we've enrolled the services of Roman Lindau to put his spin on the original. With just a few elements Lindau expertly creates a monster of a dance floor stormer. As the bassline continually grows and shrinks with a simple but highly effective four to the floor groove, the excitement swells as short stabs of vocals entice the crowd to peaking trepidation.
