Aplexo - Waves

Following his huge standout release ‘C’est Toi’, Paradoks returns to Purified Records with the evocative single ‘Remember’. Building on his signature fusion of melodic techno and deep house, the track opens with shimmering synths and a steadily pulsing rhythm, weaving intricate melodic patterns around a deep, driving bassline that anchors it firmly on the dancefloor. Subtle, layered digital vocal textures emerge sparingly, adding an atmospheric touch to the track’s powerful momentum. ‘Remember’ is another confident statement from Paradoks, showcasing his ability to balance energy and mood while evolving his unmistakable sound.

The ‘Remember’ artwork is a photograph taken by Kelsey Williamson, featuring the unique underwater landscapes of the crystal-clear fresh water at Kayangan Lake in Coron, Philippines. Kelsey is an adventurer and photographer passionate about exploring the world’s most remote and stunning regions. Her work captures untamed landscapes and underwater wonders, inspiring a deeper connection to the wild and a curiosity for the unknown.

Kayangan Lake, often mistaken for purely freshwater, is actually a mix of rainwater and ocean seepage - making it one of the cleanest and most unique lakes in Asia. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs rising from deep underwater, it’s a vivid reminder of the connection between land and sea. The Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation (@prrcfi) works to protect this balance through coral reef restoration, reforestation and education.
