Highest quality recording of 'Wiz', done on my favourite sidchip (6581 R3 0184). This chip has been selected from a batch of 50 to sound like the one in my old C=128 that went broken. As everyone remembers these tunes a bit differently, I cannot tell if this sounds right or if it is how Hubbard intended it to sound, but i think it comes pretty close. Actual feedback from Rob, on facebook Hubbard fanpage, is :'sounds damm close to my vague recollection of the naff iffy low pass filters' - Please download the .WAV file, soundcloud streaming does terrible things to chiptunes. this is a demo recording of my modified CB-55 build, i added BD/SD pitch and reso controls, snappy volume, hi hat tone can be changed to something more reasonable; also an open/closed hi hat circuit + hi hat decay has been built in, not available on the original unit. rough sound comes from the deliberately extreme biased accent circuit, it always is active but i never use the accent trigger, that helps a bit to create the more extreme BK kicks.

i put a lot of my free time into this, the modding details are all on the circuit benders site, lets make this world better by sharing things and saying thanks, eh?

Another blast from the past... Recorded in the late 90s with two taperecorders, when we tried to be industrial but just tried it for fun. Influences: Early "Die Krupps" and "Einstuerzende Neubauten". SFX in the intro was created by mounting a guitar pickup to a trashcan and cranking the PA volume to level insanity, creating a yet unheard feedback loop. Lyrics should not be taken too serious...

raumstation MIR - random

Live improvised jamession, possibly from 1996 or 1997, C=64 was played directly from computer keyboard with some program i got from magic disk 64, don't remember the name. Sometimes sound drops out due to sid chip ADSR bug.
