Being shrouded in anonymity doesn't necessarily mean you're off the radar. That certainly applies to Holland's multi-talent ZES, which means six in Dutch. ZES manoeuvres between atmospheric futuristic beats, forward thinking sounds and innovative compositions built to last. “Unlike You” was made in a time during which i was trying to find the road to becoming my truest self, and that also meant facing and acknowledging old behavior that i had that kept me away from becoming that. mindfulness is becoming a more important part of my day, every day. through making the tracks on the EP i wanted to break free from everything that deep down felt “unlike me”. and through releasing the EP into the world i want to share all that energy and development with you all.
i feel like i am still developing myself as a musician and it feels great to say that i am writing and making new music much more freely now. producing, singing, finding sounds that resonate with me on an even deeper level.

Dive (Acoustic Quarantine Rendition)

Seahaven tells the story of an artificial existence, not unlike the world of ‘The Truman Show’. In this fabricated universe built on extrinsic motivators like status, money, and possession, it becomes easier to lose touch with one another, and with a common sense of reality. With this song I felt like escaping the plastic veil of the artificial, only if just for a moment.
