Talking To Stones

The theme of the 2023 edition of BOOM Festival was Radical Love and I was inspired to curate a mix that would invite the listener to embrace all of oneself. A few hundred beautiful beings at the Prana Shala received the journey and it included the debut of the ambient remix by @intiche of my new singer-songwriter productions as Jon David (@jondavidmusic). The remix of 'I Am' seemed to find a magical placement following the words of Ram Dass and the musical genius of Jon Hopkins and East Forest.

Heading from Frankfurt to the world, Rey & Kjavik‘s soundscape has left a tremendous impression in the electronic music scene ever since his first productions were released on Kindisch/Get Physical back in 2012. Further

EPs and remixes on Katermukke, Exploited or Compost followed and
marked an unrivaled time. Nevertheless, the Frankfurt native is ready to
leave his musical but not personal past behind to look forward and create and shape a new era in house music with the release of his upcoming mystic and spiritual debut album „Rkadash“. Touring North America in 2015 established the basis for a more emotional approach to music that also originates in Rey & Kjavik‘s groundbreaking experience when playing The Kazbah“ at Burning Man for the first time. With that in mind he started to capture the spirit and unique atmosphere in tones. But it was a gig at Indigo in Instanbul and an extended stay at the Bosporus that pieced the puzzle together and helped Rey & Kjavik to finalize the album. "Rkadash“ tells a story, a story of a nomad in the contemporary world diving deep into the Orient, riding the dunes in the desert and finding peace through musical freedom. It is the story of a journey and the further development of Rey & Kjavik‘s music. So it is no surprise that the album is considered as the follow up sound of his most successful record "Baba City“. The 10-tracker from one of the fastest rising artists in the scene proves that in order to achieve greatness one must accept responsibility and leave the comfort zone. But you do not have to expose yourself to the desert wind in order to feel the world combined in Rey & Kjavik‘s "Rkadash“.

@Menteorganica is a 18 year old Colombian that moved to Berlin this year and had a very smooth arrival in the scene. After gigs at Fusion festival and Kater Blau and releases with @numanumanuma and @Randomcollectivecr we are happy to present you his newest creation. We combined it with our first remix by out mutual friend @steffenkirchhoff.  50% of the profits are going to the @loveFoundation Water Project in Kenia and the other 50% are split equally between artist and label.

Cosmovision presents '' Animals of the Earth ''

The human race has lived and shared this space we call Earth with the animal kingdom for millions of years but today, most cultures have abandoned the idea that humans are animals like the others. Our modern societies have been treating Mother Earth as if it was their property, extracting resources, polluting constantly, changing the landscape, killing the other animals we and destroying its natural balance.

Since the Industrial Revolution, humanity has killed 83% of all wild mammals and half of all plants of the Earth. Two hundred species of living beings are going extinct every single day. We collectively need to change so many things in areas such as the use of plastic, meat consumption, contaminating energies, day to day overconsumption and more. How can artists raise awareness regarding this?

Thinking on how to be simple but at the same time Universal, Cosmovision Records presents ¨Animals of the Earth¨. For this project we have gathered to co-create an ecosystem that lives in a music album. Producers from many places on Earth explored their connections with our animal cousins, remembering that the condor, the rabbit, the deer, the frog and all the others are our partners in the long trip that this green and lively planet takes in the Universe.

We invite you to come with us on this journey through the musical ecosystem of the ¨Animals of the Earth¨ to discover, respect and care for these beautiful beings that live with us.

This track was created in-between Pucon-Chile, Vale do Capao-Basil and Berlin-Germany. This has been the route of adventures of Manu Ela and Andi.Andean. The Cobra Coral is a snake that inhabits Brazil and it represents movement, the power of life and death, the game between the innocence of feeling children again and being attentive to the present to see clearly the magical path that this animal of power brings .--
