Weekly Session #046 | With Poyan Shifter

"I am a fragment of the world spirit, the genius loci of Revachol. My heart is the wind corridor. The bottom of my air is red. I have a hundred thousand luminous arms. Come morning, I carry industrial dust and let it settle on tree leaves. I shake the dust from those leaves and onto your coat. I've seen you, I've seen you! I've seen you with her — and I've seen you without her. I've seen you on the crescent of the hill."

Shivers come when the temperature drops and you become more keenly aware of your surroundings. It enables you to hear the city itself, to truly belong to the streets. It is a supra-natural ability; old wrongs play out in present time, scenes across the city happen in front of you. But who is speaking to you?

At high levels, Shivers may make you seem mad to the outside world – as you listen to the city, you don’t listen to others. Your superiors may begin to worry. With a low Shivers, though you will seldom hear the city speaking to you – and if you cannot hear it, how can you ever save it? 

This is the first part of my tribute mix series about the game called Disco Elysium.

June's full moon is brought to you by German talent Landhouse. Influenced by the techno party scene during the naughty Nineties, he started deejaying in early 2000.  Hosting a small Party row in Erdbeermund Karlsruhe called Wohnstubendisko since 2008, Landhouse started producing in 2014. 

His compositions are deep and touching, very powerful tools to unfold profound emotions and able to take you from dreamy atmospheres to the tenebrous side of music. 

We are proud to announce that this mix contains some inedited songs from his new 8 track Album LIFE, to release here on Pachamama mid July 2018. Watch this space and enjoy this podcast in the meantime!
