Russia isn't so much known for its dnb scene as it is for producing one of its most wanted artists.

Signed to Critical label in 2010, Enei's discography traces back to 2007, but it's his steady output for Kasra's imprint that he's most recognised for.

Last year, his debut album 'Machines' gained plaudits all over, while a collab with the label boss ('Breath') and his tune 'Slender' appears on 'Underground Sonics' this month, a release we scored 9/10 and described as Critical's 'most comprehensive to compilation to date' in our March issue.

Best known for his tough, murky approach to dnb, Enei touches on half-time as well more jumped up styles, always with a dark, snarling dancefloor sensibility. 

Lining in Room Two at Fabric alongside Kasra, Mefjus, Emperor, Sam Binga and the rest of the Critical Sound crew on Friday 7th March, Enei has delivered us a badboy mix to whet our appetites.

At the start of 2025, Transparent Audio announced its focus on expanding and diversifying its core roster. We’re excited to reveal the latest addition to our family – the Bristol-based duo, Dubruvvas. These two incredibly talented artists have been on our radar for the past few years. We've crossed paths at various events in Bristol and shared many conversations about collaborating. It’s with great pleasure that we now welcome them to the Transparent Audio team.

Known for their mastery of minimal sounds, Dubruvvas have firmly established themselves as key players in the underground scene. Since first making waves in 2021 with their innovative approach to sound design, which blends rolling basslines with stripped-back drums, they’ve earned the respect of both their peers and audiences. Their unique sonic identity is unmistakable and continues to captivate listeners worldwide.

Their debut project with Transparent Audio, Diamond Bits EP, showcases the duo’s versatility with four distinct tracks, each reflecting a different facet of their dynamic sound. The EP also features a collaboration with none other than Bristol’s finest, Gusto.

We’re thrilled to be working with Dubruvvas and can’t wait for you to experience what they have in store.

‘Cravings’ sets the tone with lush melodies and deep atmospherics and a hypnotic vocal. Minimal yet powerful, this is some of Bop’s drum & bass work at its finest. The second track on the EP, ‘Siren Eyes’, sees DRIIA’s ethereal toplines intertwine with Doktor’s signature dancehall energy. DRIIA, a rising star in the electronic scene, has been named one of BBC Radio 1’s Future Stars for 2024, while Doktor’s powerhouse vocals have graced multiple collaborations with the likes of Chase & Status, Sigma, and Friction.
