2015 is definitely DisasZt’s year! The label head-honcho teams up this time with one of the MC legends in the Drum & Bass Scene, MC Coppa, and brings you the “Trojan Horse”…

After the collaboration single with Protune & a feature in the Mainframe Soldiers Series, DisasZt returns into the scene with an epic, yet perfect track to finish up this summer in a breath-taking way, showing his intention to create something personal but relevant to the whole scene.

A combination of intricate drum edits, a heavy complex sound & precise vocals: The “Trojan Horse” will be stopping wherever you want.

Also joining up on this single are two duos, Telekinesis and our label-own fire starters Dossa & Locuzzed. Telekinesis’ remix is stepping up the level of heaviness, incorporating their dominant style, once again with Coppa’s vocals.

Finishing up this masterpiece is Dossa&Locuzzed’s remix, calming down the mood with a tremendous array of drum patterns and typical bass growls. The Austrian duo is showing us, yet again, the power of their production style.

“Hey SWEETFACE… is he dead?” The words were harsh and guttural, delivered through a pair of vocal cords clearly roughened beyond their age. “Nah, he’s still breathin’ “ came the reply, emitted through a face that brought a sense of irony to it’s moniker. The gravelly voice spoke again, thumbing through a wallet in his hands with a set of thick, meaty fingers. “Boss said we don’t get paid if he’s dead. I want to get paid. I got, eh, what’s the word… vices? Yeah, vices. I got vices that need fulfillin’, ya know?” “Ah, you got vices? ‘Course you got vices you dunce, ain’t no one sound like you ‘less they got vices. Now, quit complainin’ and help me put this perp in the trunk.”

The body landed with a dull thud on the metal interior of the trunk, and a small groan came forth from its nameless owner. Looking down into the trunk, SWEETFACE loaded a single round into his handgun’s magazine. “Cover your ears Pizzaface, I got vices too.” was the single command that followed. With nonchalant aplomb, SWEETFACE fired a blank mere inches from the captive’s head, awakening him with a start before slamming the trunk closed and plunging him into disoriented darkness. “You didn’t give me enough damn time, SWEETFACE!”, came the protest from his partner. Already walking towards the passenger side door of the vehicle, SWEETFACE flipped a set of keys over his shoulder at his bumbling partner. “Let’s go,” he said curtly, “and Pizzaface… make sure to shake the perp up a bit back there. Keep him scared. Hell, drive like you just had one of those “vices” of yours.”

FOURWARD return to EATBRAIN with SWEETFACE, their latest EP following their most recent single “Alien” on UKF and their previous EATBRAIN releases including Torn Place & the Wolfe EP. Marked by the groups characteristic sonic cohesion, SWEETFACE delivers a rapid barrage of four hard hitting tracks produced by FOURWARD’s masterful minds for the most recent assault of the EATBRAIN horde.

With a genre-expanding debut album and a slew of heavily-supported dancefloor destroyers in his discography, L Plus has been one of the leading lights of Technique's roster for some time now. Known to smash it as a selector – both in the rave and on stream – he's repeatedly proven he's got the knack of turning technical studio science into pure organic vibe and connection with his audience.

So, time to pay attention to 'The Orion'.

Immediately, we're off and running. Percussive hits and arpeggios set the pace, as layers of melody and harmony build and expand to epic levels. A hands-in-the-air riff joins the party, augmented by the ominous spectre of bass that's begun to creep in. Then, the looping, spiralling final approach to the drop sets us up for the knockout blow.

Mayhem ensues. L Plus hits us with intersecting polyrhythmic elements, the atmosphere continually evolving as new tones and timbres vie for our attention. This producer handles even this complexity with a masterful restraint, though. Multiple musical strands are entwined with apparent effortlessness, but, trust, delivering this level of musicality and hard-hitting rave vibes requires an expert's touch.

This is another heavyweight tune from the Technique Recordings soldier. And, with an ever-growing army of fans and a lot more music where this came from, it's clear this is L Plus's time to shine. Watch out.
