Zeynep's "Pulse of Nature" DJ Mix for the Soul Clap Records show, builds on her fantastic EP "Forest Spells" which is a leftfield house music journey into a wild yet magical forest, where nature itself takes center stage. Her dramatic sonic journeys from the EP, like "Toco Toucan", "White Owl", "Drops on Woods" blend naturally with some of the bouncy piano house sounds Zeynep selects (Gerd, Luca Lozano). The tempos pulse and continue through the entire mix so organically with the new modern afro house leaning tracks (Kalk) or the heavy funky house cuts (Virgo Four). Zeynep is a joy to watch when she DJs and she too literally pulses in the booth - this mix will bring you and your friends into her living world.

Zeynep Erbay is a Turkish producer and dj who has released music on the likes of Soul Clap Records, Fool’s Gold, Nu Northern Soul and Exploited. She tends to blur the lines between traditional house music and that steeped in a more italo lead, cosmic influence.

As a DJ she is commanding, her taste informs sets which tend to weave and wander, telling a broader story rather which soundtracks long nights on the dancefloor.

They are often highly energetic, yet packed with feel good influence.

Now based in London, she has worked tirelessly, cementing herself as a key figure in the eclectic underground.

Hot off the heels of her Panoramabar Berlin premiere and an upcoming Boiler Room Istanbul debut, Zeynep Erbay returns to Exploited, continuing her efflorescence with 'Time Comes': a beautiful and joyous ascent that definitively frames an ecstatic state of being.

Straight from the get go the track exudes a psychedelic warmth as a humid, swirling pad maps out goosebumps along the listeners spine and delayed vocal blobs flicker and gently fizz. Unapologetic piano chords burst in and gallop in lockstep with a chugging Italo bass line as the mood continues to rush.

Palms grow moist and pupils widen as snare fills punctuate progress and eventually a bittersweet vocal pours in carrying the raw emotion of the final moments of a long, transportive rave. This is powerful, confident dance music from an artist well versed in capturing memorable moments - not to be missed!
