Misun (pronounced 'me•sun') is undeniably energetic and catchy. The band transcends traditional pop as they effortlessly blend 60's rock & roll nostalgia with hip-hop, dance and a touch of spaghetti western. Misun have self-proclaimed their sound as Aquawave. However Misun's sound is defined, their deft exploration of sonics and style makes their catalog multidimensional (and at times unpredictable) while their music always remains cohesive and timeless.

By way of Washington DC, the Los Angeles based four-piece is comprised of vocalist and namesake Misun Wojcik, bassist William Devon, guitarist and producer Nacey and drummer Jon Jester. The group initially met working at a restaurant, and it wasn't long before they began exploring their musical vices. Their debut EP "The Sea" was released in the summer of 2012 on T&A Records. Misun have since cultivated their fan base organically -- through a series of self-released digital singles in 2013.

In 2014 Misun release a new limited edition 7" single via B3SCI Records. This AA-side single is not only the bands first release on vinyl, but it serves as a next frontier for the grand landscape of their ideas and sound, revealing an edgier, ambitious vision of the future. The songs on the release were recorded in Silverlake, Los Angeles with the help the co-production and engineering prowess of Mad Decent hitmaker Derek Allen.

On Side A is “Travel With Me", a forward thinking pop-fashioned song of elusive international origin. Its catchy sing-along lyrics venture the ironic tribulations of love and friendship. The band describes it as a song about being close with someone, and as time passes, the pain that comes growing apart from them, along with the joy of keeping their memories. On the flip side of the 7", "Sleep" is explained by singer Misun Wojcik as, “about waking up in the middle of the night after a really good dream and realizing it's not your reality. And being unable to fall back asleep because you're afraid you're wasting your time dreaming instead of creating the reality that you desire. More or less, it's a song about telling yourself to wake up and take a look at your life and to do the things that you want with it. It's also about love and needing someone to share and understand this realization with.”

Misun sustain a chord of excitement throughout the tastemaker blogosphere and radio, with early champions including Pitchfork, KCRW, NPR, Fader, Stereogum and numerous #1 hits on the influential Hype Machine. The new AA-side single from Misun finds a creative cohesion as it expands what the group has previously accomplished, taking a meaningful first step in 2014 towards a most defining year.

Zhala's haunting and evocative melodies are packed with a serious punch, full of thought-provoking lyrics and undeniable hooks. Using Stockholm as her base, but with the mindset of a modern day transnational, Zhala’s music is futuristic, labeled by the artist herself as “cosmic pop.”

Zhala (Rifat) was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. She became very involved in the local art and club scene and further developed her talents as an artist through dance, singing and her live shows. This path eventually led to her being signed to Konichiwa Records in 2012.

While recording the music for her first release, Zhala continued to tour - playing several festivals (Bestival, Isle of Wight, Way Out West), a unique performance at the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at Stockholm’s Moderna Museet, and most recently, opening slots for Robyn in London, Berlin and Stockholm. The darkly epic track Slippin’ Around emerged online at the start of 2012 with a creepily striking video, alerting the likes of My Old Kentucky Blog, Discobelle and The	 Line of Best Fit that there was a new and unusual popstar about to emerge.

Club Late Music & Over My Body team up for a joint release! Welcome Apex Union, a split EP featuring Bungalovv & Lujiachi with remixes by B E N N, Dj Animebby, DJ Würm & jondu.

The release initiates the new CLM collaborative series called SPLIT - a simple format where one member from the Global URL Nation shares an EP with an artist from another label or collective, and also marks the first official collaboration of young Taiwan-based Over My Body with another label! This joint collab is pretty straightforward : two artists, two tracks each and remixes by members of both collectives. 

Over the past few years, Bungalovv and Lujiachi have affirmed and cultivated unique sonic palettes that seduced local and international scenes alike. Their encounter on Apex Union initiates a dialog, a weaving of their extended footprints where throbbing basses intertwine with piercing noises, sharp percussions and spiraling voices - resulting in four tracks that will shred, tear and enchant the firmest minds and the stiffest bodies.

The original tracks are reinterpreted by B E N N & jondu from the Over My Body roster, as well as Dj Würm and Dj Animebby from the GUN community, extracting the core essence of the originals to infuse them with raw flavors, that will perfectly soundtrack the haziest cave raves and bleakest winter nightwalks.
