Introduction:
| Hey, I am Solas, a composer who primarily creates Irish/Celtic/Viking fantasy music. My biggest influences in music definitely are, Adrian Von Ziegler for his Celtic music, and Hans Zimmer for the incredible film scores that he has crafted, I also draw a lot of inspiration from TV shows such as Game Of Thrones, The Last Kingdom, The Witcher, and the following games being, Skyrim/Elder Scrolls Online, Zelda, Dark Souls, the Diablo Franchise, World of Warcraft, and Ashes of Creation.

I have also recently been greatly inspired by the haunting and moving compositions by Darren and Peter Gundry, and also the likes of Danheim for Viking music.

A Zeal For Vengeance

Zach Heyde (b. 1993) is a composer, music copyist and content creator currently living in South Pasadena, CA. His scores blend his love for thematic orchestral music with experimental ambiences and textures. He is a skilled pianist and arranger, and performs with Frank Tedesco as “Frank & Zach Piano Duets”—a YouTube channel with over 280k subscribers to date.

Heyde holds a B.A. in music composition from the Hartt School. During his time at Hartt, Heyde was commissioned by Alfred Music Publishing to arrange numerous piano duets with Frank Tedesco, and several years later the duo founded sheet music webstore Stems Up Sound. 

After graduating in 2015, Heyde moved to Nashville the following year. Heyde & Tedesco launched Frank & Zach Piano Duets, and within a year gained over 100,000 subscribers. During this time, Heyde continued his work as a music copyist, working for Bill Sherman (Sesame Street, Nature Cat), Sammy Sanfilippo (Ocean Way Studios), and numerous others.

In 2018, Heyde began his ongoing work composing actively for various Dungeons and Dragons groups such as Saving Throw and The Merry Mercenaries. His recent work includes music for Marvel Ultimate’s web comics, as well as audio/video demos for VST companies like Orange Tree Samples, Strezov Sampling and ProjectSAM.
