Revelation 5:5-10

And one of the elders said to me, Do not weep; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so that He may open the scroll and its seven seals. 

And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures and in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing as having just been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 

And He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sits upon the throne. 

And when He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, each having a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which bowls are the prayers of the saints. 

And they sing a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, for You were slain and have purchased for God by Your blood men out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 

And have made them a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign on the earth.

What a Friend we have in Jesus (Singing) / 何等朋友我主耶稣

I heard this hymn for the first time at a Thursday night Solid Ground (Ministry Series at the time) with Christian Students on Campus at The University of Texas at Austin. 

A song couldn't sum up my experience better. I'd been praying for three years to meet some people with genuine hearts for the Lord.

I met those people at UT, and they were wonderful. They talked about the Lord over dinner. They showed me God's eternal purpose. And it turned out, there was so much of me that needed to be gained by Him. But the Lord surely added Himself into me that first year through every meeting and experience, the saints, and especially, "a search in His Word found my hardened heart softened."

He's my God

I started learning ukulele and guitar in 2024. I enjoy playing hymns from my Church. 

Martin Luther once said music was the gift from God to man. I hope music can help bring you closer to Him. It certainly does for me. Praise the Lord!
