Hailing from Mowbray, Zig Zag is a Cape Town producer, singer and rapper. Growing up with Jazz and opera music widely in the environment and being exposed to some of the greatest South Africa Jazz musicians ever to grace the ears of the music scene in Cape Town, Zig Zag has a wide-ranging repertoire of sounds. Playing drums from the age of 8 years old, guitar at the age of 13 years old and receiving production software at 14 years old, Zig Zag has become a notable character in the Cape Town music industry. He has been a member of multiple hip hop and rock groups including; The Addiction; The Ammo and Pyramid. Zig Zag worked in these groups as the principle beatmaker, producer and occasional hook singer. Ready to forge a solo career in music, Zig Zag has embarked on his grandest project yet. His upcoming 8 track mixtape, Grown Away is set to be released in July 2018.
