I am happy to share my live recordings of one of the most magical night of my career so far.
I was invited to play in Oaxaca, Mexico together with Acid Pauli during 'Day of the dead' on 31st of oct 2015.
We played in some kind of old spanish church in the middle of the night. Because it was ‘the day of the death’ everybody was dressed like skelletons. They painted me as my dog Rivaldo, that passed away 3 months ago.
You can imagine playing in Mexico in a temple, on the day of the dead, with Acid Pauli, in front of Skelletons, while I was painted like my Rivaldo (and Martin had some kind of Jezus outfit) was pretty magical.

So I am excited to share with you the live recordings of this night.
I want to thank Mariana, ALKEMY and gem&bolt party w/ guest mezcal Amores and Meteoro to set up this night.
And all the people who came to show: you really made that temple come alive again!!

Niki is a Vancouver-based DJ and musician. From raiding her parents’ record collection when she was just a child, to becoming resident at Vancouver’s MIA, Niki has continuously been living with the music in the forefront. Within a very short time, she has put herself on the map as an up and coming DJ. 

Niki conveys her expression of life to listeners and engages crowds through her live sets when she’s behind the decks , and through dozens of podcasts and studio mixes. Her sets have been described as musical journeys, charming listeners and at the same time inviting them to dive into their own individual world of sensations. 

Niki is the host of Allure on Frisky Radio which airs every 3rd Wednesday of the month.

The past 18 months (since the last time I posted my Fusion recording) have been truly memorable for me, with many unforgettable experiences all over the world, new places, new friends and above all some amazing support along the way. I am grateful to have this opportunity to travel around the world to stages where I can expose my music. 

One of the key moments came back on April 1st when I closed DGTL Amsterdam’s Frequency Stage. I was exhilarated throughout, and I felt that I achieved a very strong connection with the people that were there that day. So much, so that I decided to go back to my studio to record the set again, so that I could share it with everyone once more here. Thank you to everyone that let this set come alive. Originally from Turkey, the Berlin based producer and DJ Zigan Aldi leans towards electronic-instrumental crossover, melodic techno and deep house. He has a unique ability to combine a compelling bassline with handmade acoustic music which result in what he calls "Organic Sound". While his own "Organic Sounds" fade in and out, magical atmospheric moments arrives with the melody that melts in the techno beats and takes you on an introspective trip.
