Presenting their second release of the year, Eat My Hat Music unveils a new single from Ziger and Mind Conspiracy. 2021 saw the Greek duo flex their collaborative powers, teaming up for two well-received singles entitled ‘Your Way’ and ‘Bitter Sweet’, which landed in February and December respectively. With the latter holding a place in the label’s top five best sellers on Beatport, Eat My Hat boss Ziger has orchestrated a third and much anticipated joint project with Mind Conspiracy entitled ‘The Light’, alongside a remix from label artist Eleven Of July. 

Beginning with the Original Mix, Ziger and Mind Conspiracy demonstrate just how strong their creative synergy has become. Led by a smooth groove, sleek rhythms and astral synth stylings, its cosmic nature captivates from the outset. Warm and inviting across the first act, a melodic sensibility rises as flickering sonics and sweeping effects blanket the charged groove. Stripping down into the main break, the duo digs further into their emotive repertoire, by introducing colourful arps and a heartfelt vocal, resulting in the ultimate dance floor moment, before eventually giving way to a rush of drums for a euphoric finale. 

Returning to the label and providing the lone interpretation of ‘The Light’ is August Proto aka Eleven Of July. November of last year marked the Italian artist’s Eat My Hat debut with a three-track showcase entitled ‘Fearless’. Now embarking on his fifth year as professional producer, August has continued to go from strength to strength, landing releases via Awen Recordings, Beyond Now, Movement Recordings and Us and Them Records, while earning the praise of &ME, Dj Tennis, Dubfire, Undercatt and more. Continuing to build a bond with Eat My Hat as 2022 takes shape, Eleven Of July now returns to the label with a powerful rendition of ‘The Light’. Fluid and groovy in equal measure, it’s a mix that carries the sensibility of the original, while adding more of a melodic techno vibe through tougher beats, unique sonic artifacts and otherworldly effects. Building beautifully into the break, shimmering arps and a ghostly vocal take centrestage, adding further to its emotive sensibility, before a billowing drop spearheads a glowing finale. A stunning rendition from the fast-rising Italian artist, rounding out another must have offering from Ziger’s Eat My Hat Music.

Haris Zigeridis aka ZIGER is one of the main representatives of high quality electronic dance music in Greece. Born in 1981 in Thessaloniki & later raised in Athens, he has discovered his passion for Electronic music as a teenager soon deciding to experience himself into Music Production. The new millennium has brought the first results in his home-studio, while a couple of years later he signed his first release. The story could be already figured out, when in 2003 he started his studies in Music Technology & Computer Programming with the result to invest in his home studio & focus into producing fresh beats & pieces, influenced by the modern progressive genres in House, Techno & Trance back then. His first big moment came in the late '00s, after remixing Yves Larock gaining big attention by important people of the industry, stepping into the '10s energized and more promising than any other time in his musical life. The last few years, Ziger's music on labels like Sudbeat, Plattenbank, Movement Recordings, ao.. can be highly recommended by top Artists of the global Dance Music Industry including the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold, Jerome Isma-Ae, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Petar Dundov, Henry Saiz, Edu Imbernon, ao..His experience as a DJ/live act hails from back in the '00s in the good-ol' scene of Athens. Studio wise, he's collaborated with some great artists like Van Bellen, David Granha, Luke Porter, Weekend Heroes, Andrea Bertolini, ao.. His studio- upgrade & newer philosophy into the electronic music world together with his experience have lead him on paths of major events & festivals in Greece with a bunch of upcoming shows around Europe & further, while being focused creating new bombs in his studio.. Opening the Spring season, Ziger’s Eat My Hat Music welcomes Axel Giova to the label for his debut single. Hailing from Argentina, Axel Giova first emerged in 2020 with a release via Omnia Rec. On the strength of remixes from Kamilo Sanclemente, the EP found a near perfect balance between organic, melodic and progressive house. The next two calendar years would see further successes for Axel, landing standout releases for Freegrant Music and Magnitude Recordings. Now, following an appearance on Steyoyoke’s ‘Perception’ collection to begin the year, Axel makes his Eat My Hat debut with ‘Crescendo’, alongside remixes from Ziger and Kamilo Sanclemente. 

Getting the release underway with the original mix, Axel marries warm key-changing grooves with buoyant rhythms and inviting electronics. Sleek and energetic, an enticing array of arps elevates mood across the first act, as shimmering effects and clattering percussive arrangements provide a bridge into the main break. Balmy atmospheres and effervescent chord stabs rise across the interlude, creating moments of anticipation and emotion, as an eventual zenith is reached with hazy harmonics and a tasteful drum flurry spearheading an uplifting finale.

The first interpretation of ‘Crescendo’ is provided by Eat My Hat label boss Ziger. The much-loved Greek artist comes off a successful 2022 which included a collection of memorable projects. Whether being paired with occasional studio partner Mind Conspiracy or operating in solo capacity, Ziger has added nicely to his resume across the year. A string of successful releases for Eat My Hat proved to be the highlight, with ICONYC and SLC-6 Music also playing host to his cutting-edge sounds. Now, presenting his first new music of 2023, Ziger dials in an excellent rendition of ‘Crescendo’. Drawing inspiration from the original, Ziger layers misty atmospheres and arcane electronics atop punchy beats and rippling grooves. Mysterious and thought-provoking throughout, it’s a heady amalgamation of sound which makes for an energetic yet atmospheric journey, elegantly melting down to deconstructed vocals and ethereal phrasing across a one-minute interlude, before a mystical final act puts a cap on this otherworldly gem.

The release concludes with Kamilo Sanclemente making his label debut with the second and final interpretation of ‘Crescendo’. As one of progressive music's most beloved names, the Cali resident has a litany of successes over the last decade. Prolific and consistent in equal measure, Kamilo has earned the praise of genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while showcasing his music via Anjunadeep, The Soundgarden, Replug and more. Now, fresh off a contribution to All Day I Dream's 'Winter Sampler', Kamilo makes his Eat My Hat debut with a gorgeous take on ‘Crescendo’. Built around a deep thumping framework, Kamilo focuses on rhythm and groove across the first act, nicely balanced with a healthy dose of arpeggiated sequences with colourful effects. Looking to bring greater emotional depth, the main break unveils a gorgeous primary theme, delicately dancing across poignant vocal phrasing and filtered arps, as modulation peaks for a groovy finale. A gorgeous conclusion to an excellent Eat My Hat debut for Axel Giova, an artist who looks to have a breakout year as 2023 unfolds.

Ziger’s Eat My Hat Music continues a strong summer season by welcoming Messier and EZEK to the label for their debut single. Hailing from the USA and Brazil respectively, both Messier and EZEK are well established in their solo careers. A combined discography boasts releases via Awen Tales, Beatfreak, Freegrant, Steyoyoke, Univack and more. The duo's astral sounds have also found favour with a broad selection of the underground’s tastemakers in Danny Tenaglia, Guy Gerber, Hernan Cattaneo, Nicole Moudaber and more. Having previously collaborated on a track for Beatfreak’s Elements 05 collection, Messier and EZEK join forces once again, making their Eat My Hat debut with ‘All I Need’, alongside a remix from Ziger. 

Aimed squarely at a peak hour dance floor, ‘All I Need’ marries trance-inducing rhythms and striking percussion with punchy beats and rolling grooves. An array of squelchy stabs and devilish effects steals the air across the first act, sweeping in and out of the stereo-field, as vocal overlays create intrigue leading into the break. Looking to bring greater emotional depth across the interlude, a primary melodic theme rises, bringing with it prophetic vibes and warm chord changes, before a well-crafted build and buzzing effects spark a devilish drop and charged finale.

Now, presenting just his second production of the year, Ziger overhauls ‘All I Need’ in epic fashion. While maintaining the electric spirit of the original, the veteran artist crafts a sweeping sonic experience all his own, a fiery journey where thunderous grooves meet siren-like wails and panoramic effects for the ultimate dance floor assault. A festival style break sits at the heart of the journey, as charming atmospheres and cosmic spirals give way to glowing vocal motifs and buzzing siren-like wails, onwards to a finale where euphoria awaits with arms raised and eyes closed.

Ziger returns to ICONYC with a brand-new single titled 'Bring Back the Rave'. The Greek producer continues to be one of the top tier progressive house artists with continued support from the who is who in the progressive underground, along with releases on Eleatics, Beatfreak, Sudbeat and his own Eat My Hat imprint.

'Bring Back the Rave' finds Ziger at his creative best with a driving, hypnotic production that's nicely dialed in or the dance floor. Punchy beats and a full, driving groove anchor the piece, as vibrant tones and spacey effects adorn the framework. The main break hits suddenly and its astral charm quickly saturates your pleasure centers, before melting down to a cavernous reservoir as the beats drop for a storming finale.

The first remix of 'Bring Back the Rave' comes courtesy of German producer Oovation who marks his debut on the label in style, with a driving melodic infused remix here. Oovation who carved out a name for himself with high quality releases, reshapes the original elements into something more main room melodic sounding. The wonk factor on the low end is quite high and monumentally groovy as well, nicely playing off the rolling rhythmic qualities as dulcet hooks and gentle harmonics drift in and out of the framework. The main break shifts the narrative into more energetic territory but the dance floor sensibility remains, with muted beats and percussive clusters building towards a tasteful drop. Superb rework from Oovation.

The third and final interpretation comes from label debutants Two Are. The Ukrainian duo follow excellent releases on Siona, Armada and Lost in You with a brilliant interpretation here. Powerful, compelling and acutely mysterious, it's driving melodic qualities and richly textured groove make for an intense first act. As atmospheres evolve, distinctive stabs and vocal edits steal the air, before a one-minute break takes you further into a haze of thumping audio, perfectly setting up a grand finale. A brilliant remix from Two Are that's likely destined for the sets of the big boy brigade. Highly recommended.

With 'Bring Back the Rave' Ziger really shows that there're no boundaries, as this striking melodic gem guides you to a full-on club laden, melodic hug of a release that will cause many smiles induced moments and instantly lift your mood. Ziger’s Eat My Hat opens the new year by welcoming Noise Generation and Javier Roman to the label for their debut collaboration. Hailing from Sri Lanka, Noise Generation first emerged just a year ago with a series of releases for Sounds and Frequencies Recordings. Noted for his nostalgic progressive sound, the Colombo resident would go on to compile an impressive resume across the next year, landing key releases via Balkan Connection's BC2, Eternal Beats and One Of A Kind. Meanwhile, Argentina’s Javier Roman has enjoyed similar success across his six month production career, with 3rd Avenue, BC2 and SLC-6 Music all being landing spots for his progressive sound. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, Noise Generation and Javier Roman make their Eat My Hat debut with ‘Revolution’, alongside remixes from Mind Conspiracy and Ziger. 

Beginning with the original mix Noise Generation and Javier Roman put a firm focus on the dancefloor which sets the tone for the release. Full of rhythmic energies and haunting vocal pads, the duo layer orbiting effects, cross-cultural overlays and clattering percussive arrangements for a hypnotic flow leading into the break. Tense and cinematic in equal measure, the interlude opens up into a vivid landscape of cosmic effects and deeply meditative structures, before melting down to a stomping drop and club-effective finale.

Returning to the label for the first interpretation of ‘Revolution’ is Mind Conspiracy. As one of Eat My Hat’s primary artists, Greek artist Mind Conspiracy continues to deliver a cross-genre style, oftentimes finding a creative balance between progressive and melodic house & techno. With the release of ‘Rock Solid’ and ‘Metafora’ highlighting another excellent year past, Mind Conspiracy begins 2024 back on Eat My Hat with a rousing remix of ‘Revolution’. With a backbone of tough kick drums and machine-gun rhythms, comes a forest of ultrasonic effects and phasing vocals for the ultimate energy-inducing rush. The debut release from Eat My Hat finds label boss Ziger back in the spotlight with a new single entitled ‘Faded Realm’. Hailing from Athens, Harris Zigeridis aka Ziger would have to be considered a veteran of his country’s burgeoning progressive house underground. The long time Hernan Cattaneo favourite has showcased his music on Beatfreak Recordings, Eleatics, Plattenbank Records and Sudbeat Music. Now after months of anticipation the Greek artist launches his Eat My Hat imprint with a new single alongside a remix from D-Formation.

Known for his peak time creations, Ziger continues that sensibility with the enigmatic ‘Faded Realm’. Beginning with tough beats, perfectly contoured bass and crunchy rhythms, it’s a boundless creation from the outset. Resonating on a heartfelt frequency, percussive flurries push momentum forward, as tonal overlays descend over the framework, elevating mood and tension before effortless segueing into the main break. Ever evolving, the narrative shifts as cascading tones fully saturate your pleasure centres, flowing through impassioned chord changes before a timely drop ushers in a fiery finale.

The lone interpretation of ‘Faded Realm’ is provided by D-Formation who makes his label debut here. The Spanish artist has been a fixture of the electronic underground for over two decades. Appearances on Suara, Einmusika and his Beatfreak Recordings imprint highlight his discography, as he continues to travel the globe delighting fans with his groovy, melodic sound. Always a creative and highly sought after remixer, D-Formation now makes his Eat My Hat debut with a superb rendition of ‘Faded Realm’. The Spanish artist reprocesses the original elements into a techno state of mind, carving out an electric groove adorned with feathered sonics, firing drums and fresh rhythmic themes. Clever transitions along with shifts in energy and space make for an exciting and ever-evolving astral storyboard. Tension rises to a premium across the second of two breaks, as cosmic motifs and sheets of textural bliss unite for what should be a magical dance floor moment. Harris Zigeridis aka ZIGER is one of the main representatives of high quality electronic dance music in Greece. Born in 1981 in Thessaloniki & later raised in Athens, he has discovered his passion for Electronic music as a teenager soon deciding to experience himself into Music Production. 

The new millenium has brought the first results in his home-studio, while a couple of years later he signed his first release. The story could be already figured out, when in 2003 he started his studies in Music Technology & Computer Programming with the result to invest in his home studio & focus into producing fresh beats & pieces, influenced by the modern progressive genres in House, Techno & Trance back then.

His first big moment came in the late '00s, after remixing Yves Larock gaining big attention by important people of the industry, stepping into the '10s energized and more promising than any other time in his musical life. The last few years, Ziger's music on labels like Sudbeat, Plattenbank,Eleatics, Joof,Movement Recordings, Outta Limits, ao.. can be highly recommended by top Artists of the global Dance Music Industry including the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold, Jerome Isma-Ae, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Petar Dundov, Henry Saiz,   D-nox, ao..

His experience as a DJ/live act hails from back in the '00s in the good-ol' scene of Athens. Studiowise, he's collaborated with some great artists like Quivver,Van Bellen, David Granha, Luke Porter, Weekend Heroes, Andrea Bertolini, ao.. His studio-upgrade & newer philosophy into the electronic music world together with his experience have lead him on paths of major events & festivals in Greece with a bunch of upcoming shows around Europe & further, while being focused creating new bombs in his studio.. So Ziger is already considered as a figure that won't fade in the electronic scene in the near future.. Keep an eye on him!
