Ziger’s Eat My Hat opens the new year by welcoming Noise Generation and Javier Roman to the label for their debut collaboration. Hailing from Sri Lanka, Noise Generation first emerged just a year ago with a series of releases for Sounds and Frequencies Recordings. Noted for his nostalgic progressive sound, the Colombo resident would go on to compile an impressive resume across the next year, landing key releases via Balkan Connection's BC2, Eternal Beats and One Of A Kind. Meanwhile, Argentina’s Javier Roman has enjoyed similar success across his six month production career, with 3rd Avenue, BC2 and SLC-6 Music all being landing spots for his progressive sound. Now, combining their extensive forces for the first time, Noise Generation and Javier Roman make their Eat My Hat debut with ‘Revolution’, alongside remixes from Mind Conspiracy and Ziger. 

Beginning with the original mix Noise Generation and Javier Roman put a firm focus on the dancefloor which sets the tone for the release. Full of rhythmic energies and haunting vocal pads, the duo layer orbiting effects, cross-cultural overlays and clattering percussive arrangements for a hypnotic flow leading into the break. Tense and cinematic in equal measure, the interlude opens up into a vivid landscape of cosmic effects and deeply meditative structures, before melting down to a stomping drop and club-effective finale.

Returning to the label for the first interpretation of ‘Revolution’ is Mind Conspiracy. As one of Eat My Hat’s primary artists, Greek artist Mind Conspiracy continues to deliver a cross-genre style, oftentimes finding a creative balance between progressive and melodic house & techno. With the release of ‘Rock Solid’ and ‘Metafora’ highlighting another excellent year past, Mind Conspiracy begins 2024 back on Eat My Hat with a rousing remix of ‘Revolution’. With a backbone of tough kick drums and machine-gun rhythms, comes a forest of ultrasonic effects and phasing vocals for the ultimate energy-inducing rush. Tranquil themes dominate the main break, slowing building to a sizzling boil amidst a vortex of drums, for what results in a huge peak time version that is sure to light up even the most discerning dancefloors.

The release concludes with Eat My Hat label boss Ziger providing the second and final interpretation of ‘Revolution’. 2023 saw the Athens resident spend the majority of his time as a  remixer, delivering standout productions for both Eat My Hat and Polyptych Noir, with a peak-time rendition of ‘All I Need’ by EZEK & Messier rounding out the year as his most sought after production. Now, beginning 2024 on a strong note, Ziger delivers a groovy rendition of ‘Revolution’. Bringing a progressive state of mind, Ziger carefully balances the themes from the original with his own melodic groove-centric sound. Timely effects and striking stabs steal the air atop thunderous beats, rippling grooves and sci-fi vocal samples; while a trance-inspired break seals what is the ultimate dance floor bomb to round out the release.

Greek superstar, Ziger returns to Sudbeat with three incredible tracks. From learning his craft at the turn of the century to being on the lips of the scenes elite, Ziger's sonic journey has been littered with high points. Signed to a mouth-watering number of labels including Plattenbank, ICONYC and JOOF shows the wide spectrum of his sound design and the appeal his music has to the scene itself. But don't take our word for it, check out the EP and discover the multi-colored world of Ziger for yourselves! Take 'Rumble' for example; rawkus and bass-driven, it thunders from the speakers with understated elegance. Pretty arps twinkle and leftfield FX trip out all heading towards the main break that magically ups the energy for the second half. A work of musical genius. Then there's 'Dot' which starts from a deep place but packs just the same punch. Building slowly with spoken vocals punctuating the groove, the main break here is hands in the air epic. And finally, 'Adapt' which playfully uses light and dark to paint its audio picture. Like a caged lion waiting for its moment to escape, the build up is tense but the pay off magnificent.

Ziger is one of the main representatives of high quality electronic dance music coming out from the Greek underground scene and it seems that he is on fire lately with beautiful releases on Sudbeat, Plattenbank. The second and final interpretation of 'Linda' is provided by Movement Recordings artist Ziger. The Greek producer is making his sixth appearance on the label which follows his remix of 'Marathon' by Tone Depth & Ampish from October of this year. Ziger's pure progressive sound has long been a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo and his remix here looks set for a similar fate. From its galloping groove, spacey effects and enigmatic drum fills there is a lot to like. What's perhaps most compelling is an atmospheric storyboard which takes you closer to the cosmos with a trail of sonic artefacts and mystical melodies leading the charge. A gorgeous remix from Ziger, rounding out what is an excellent offering from Tash's Movement Recordings once again.

Space-melodic groove of the main 'After Midnight' says pretty clearly when this needs to be played; enrolling bass with beautifully layered synthesis of melodies makes a great impression of this track.
Already familiar to us and the thousands of fans worldwide Several Definitions from Switzerland makes his remix of 'After Midnight' with a long story envelope with a flying and leftfield progressive feeling.
'Back Door' turns out to be a closing track, so saying, 'closing doors' one of the release.

The debut release from Eat My Hat finds label boss Ziger back in the spotlight with a new single entitled ‘Faded Realm’. Hailing from Athens, Harris Zigeridis aka Ziger would have to be considered a veteran of his country’s burgeoning progressive house underground. The long time Hernan Cattaneo favourite has showcased his music on Beatfreak Recordings, Eleatics, Plattenbank Records and Sudbeat Music. Now after months of anticipation the Greek artist launches his Eat My Hat imprint with a new single alongside a remix from D-Formation.

Known for his peak time creations, Ziger continues that sensibility with the enigmatic ‘Faded Realm’. Beginning with tough beats, perfectly contoured bass and crunchy rhythms, it’s a boundless creation from the outset. Resonating on a heartfelt frequency, percussive flurries push momentum forward, as tonal overlays descend over the framework, elevating mood and tension before effortless segueing into the main break. Ever evolving, the narrative shifts as cascading tones fully saturate your pleasure centres, flowing through impassioned chord changes before a timely drop ushers in a fiery finale.

The lone interpretation of ‘Faded Realm’ is provided by D-Formation who makes his label debut here. The Spanish artist has been a fixture of the electronic underground for over two decades. Appearances on Suara, Einmusika and his Beatfreak Recordings imprint highlight his discography, as he continues to travel the globe delighting fans with his groovy, melodic sound. Always a creative and highly sought after remixer, D-Formation now makes his Eat My Hat debut with a superb rendition of ‘Faded Realm’. The Spanish artist reprocesses the original elements into a techno state of mind, carving out an electric groove adorned with feathered sonics, firing drums and fresh rhythmic themes. Clever transitions along with shifts in energy and space make for an exciting and ever-evolving astral storyboard. Tension rises to a premium across the second of two breaks, as cosmic motifs and sheets of textural bliss unite for what should be a magical dance floor moment. Harris Zigeridis aka ZIGER is one of the main representatives of high quality electronic dance music in Greece. Born in 1981 in Thessaloniki & later raised in Athens, he has discovered his passion for Electronic music as a teenager soon deciding to experience himself into Music Production. 

The new millenium has brought the first results in his home-studio, while a couple of years later he signed his first release. The story could be already figured out, when in 2003 he started his studies in Music Technology & Computer Programming with the result to invest in his home studio & focus into producing fresh beats & pieces, influenced by the modern progressive genres in House, Techno & Trance back then.

His first big moment came in the late '00s, after remixing Yves Larock gaining big attention by important people of the industry, stepping into the '10s energized and more promising than any other time in his musical life. The last few years, Ziger's music on labels like Sudbeat, Plattenbank,Eleatics, Joof,Movement Recordings, Outta Limits, ao.. can be highly recommended by top Artists of the global Dance Music Industry including the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold, Jerome Isma-Ae, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Petar Dundov, Henry Saiz,   D-nox, ao..

His experience as a DJ/live act hails from back in the '00s in the good-ol' scene of Athens. Studiowise, he's collaborated with some great artists like Quivver,Van Bellen, David Granha, Luke Porter, Weekend Heroes, Andrea Bertolini, ao.. His studio-upgrade & newer philosophy into the electronic music world together with his experience have lead him on paths of major events & festivals in Greece with a bunch of upcoming shows around Europe & further, while being focused creating new bombs in his studio.. So Ziger is already considered as a figure that won't fade in the electronic scene in the near future.. Keep an eye on him!
