Sobre "3": 
Se trata de un álbum climático, de alguna manera ligado con el ambient, compuesto a través del trabajo con la técnica del cut and paste. Los climas que logra el disco se van generando por insistencia, por repetición. Los temas varían poco y lentamente y los sonidos que, en una primera instancia, aparecen como definidos e identificables, a medida que las piezas avanzan se van confundiendo y superponiendo hasta lograr texturas y diferentes planos sonoros. 
El número 3 atraviesa la obra desde todo punto de vista: su nombre es 3, contiene 3 piezas cuya duración total es de 33 minutos con 33 segundos, los instrumentos utilizados fueron 3 (sintetizador análogo, piano y sampler), los tres temas parten de ideas musicales y loops de 3 notas (incluso el segundo tema sólo tiene 3 notas).
El concierto de presentación de "3" (compuesto, grabado y mezcladose por Juan Stewart) se realizó el día 3 (de diciembre de 2002) en el Auditorio de la Alianza Francesa y, finalmente, el costo de la entrada al evento fue de $3.
