Focusing on the dark, strange, primitive and metaphysical, Mama Matrix is the radio alias of Irish experimental artist Clíona Ní Laoi.

Ní Laoi writes & performs music in industrial bands Salac & All Times Now Nothing, and produces occult beats under her Princess Difficult alias. She is a member of Bristol based label Avon Terror Corps. She is one half of feminist industrial noise duo Dreamgirls with upcoming performances @ CTM Festival x Transmediale, Berlin 2023.

Zilzal w/ Hüma Utku

Hüma Utku, born and raised in Istanbul based in Berlin, is an electronic music composer and sound artist.

Utku combines her musical practice with her academic studies in psychology through her works drawing inspiration from human condition, psychology and folklore. With an overall disregard for genres, she utilises melody and sound as tools for storytelling.

Her 2018 EP 'Şeb-i Yelda' and her 2019 debut album 'Gnosis', through Karlrecords, earned Utku recognition for her unique approach of storytelling through electronic music.

In May 2022, her sophomore album ''The Psychologist'' was released by Editions Mego.

The Sydney born DJ and producer has been a firm fixture on many people’s radar for a good while, slowly earning himself a reputation as a master of low tempos and high intensities fit for dance floors of any nature.

Made in Australia but firmly settled in The Netherlands, Max Abysmal is a unique character and one of the rawest talents to emerge from Amsterdam’s vibrant music scene in recent years. 

Somewhat of a pillar of the underground scene, Max Abysmal has certainly carved his own niche bringing an unrivalled degree of eclecticism. For some time now, Max has operated amongst many of Amsterdam's musically like-minded and well known characters, fitting neatly within the Red Light Radio, Safe Trip and Dekmantel crews and clicks.

Drew McDowall is a Scottish born, NYC based composer and musician. He was a member of Coil in the 90’s contributing heavily to some of their most respected and influential works. An artist who has refused to conform in music and in life, McDowall mines the hallucinatory spaces that exist between reality and transcendental otherness. His work has been described as “sacraments to alterity”, with meditative compositions that are haunting and spiritual, melding intricate modular soundscapes with cut-up field recordings, deconstructing and reconfiguring sounds into otherworldly structures and shapes. The disorienting ambient mirages that result elicit terror, tender melancholy, and heavenly flickers of expansive beauty. He has released four albums on Dais Records since 2015 the most recent being Agalma (2020) and is known for his diverse collaborations, working with Kali Malone, Catarina Barbieri, Robert Aki Aubrey Lowe, Hiro Kone, Varg, Puce Mary and many others and has performed at many international festivals including CTM, Berlin Atonal, Dark Mofo, Unsound, Le Guess Who, Semibreve, WOS and Ambient Church. In July 2023 Dais Records will release Lamina, a 6 CD career spanning, retrospective box set.

Nour Sokhon is a Lebanese artist based in Berlin, Germany. Her creative practice is centered around exploring different methods of working with artistic research including interview material, field recordings and recorded material from an organized site specific intervention. The research is then translated into sound/music compositions, performances, interactive installations and moving image work.

In 2014, Nour achieved an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the American University in Dubai, and in 2017 she culminated a large scale project; a documentary entitled ‘People on Sound’, as part of her Master’s degree in Sound for the Moving Image at the Glasgow School of Art in the UK. In 2019, Nour received the Emerging Artist Prize at the Sursock Museum in Lebanon, for a moving image piece entitled ‘Revisiting: Hold Your Breath’.
