I choose to believe in a future where cities are domed. Where cars levitate, walkways move, and monorails reign supreme. Where one piece nylon outfits are the norm, where food is always shaped as a cube and is dispensed from a chute in the dining room, and where people use jetpacks to get to work. Where residences are modular, farms are fully automated and hydroponic, and the kids are watched over by humanoid robot nannies. Where the natural world is tamed into continuous parks, the Moon is a health resort, and couples go to Jupiter on their Honeymoons.

I refuse to fear the future, to be ashamed of our enterprising past, to feel guilty for having dreams of prosperity and abundance for all. The future....It's gonna be awesome :)

Jetpack Commuter
